Some of My Favorite Nantucket Things. {a giveaway!}
If you follow along on instagram then you’ve already got a big (over)dose of the past five days that I spent in Nantucket.

I never wanted to leave. absolutelyinlove.

We were there working with Pavan for the annual Nantucket Film Festival and it was simply a blast. I’m going to tell you all about that in more posts to come (complete photo overload on it’s way) and I can’t wait to share what we did and most importantly: WHERE WE ATE. Even if it rained the entire freaking time. Seriously. The entire time.
Then we came home to solid downpours. It just follows me.

In the meantime, I went on a few adventures in Nantucket in search of some cool local products that I could share with you since I couldn’t frolic on the beach in my downtime. That included spending a good chunk of time in the bakery (shocker), the local farmer’s market on saturday morning (omg, love!) and a bunch of boutique-y shops. My absolute favorite was called ambrosia (I think they have an actual website, but I can’t get it to load), which is an artisan chocolate, spices and tea store. You don’t even want to KNOW what I came home with. I’m going to tell you soon anyway, but it consists of wonderful things like merlot salt, rose powder and organic dark chocolate cocoa nib hot cocoa mix.
Ugh. So good.

Since we all fell in love with so much of this incredible local stuff, Pavan offered to give away some of my local favorites to six of you. We are giving away treat bags with some goodies from ambrosia, tafari organics (I bought hibiscus syrup from there… omg), embody (all natural bath and body products), petticoat row bakery and small town girl.
I enjoyed everything in Nantucket so much, but especially loved the local culture. It reminded me a lot of Northern Michigan… and if you’ve been following along for a few years, you know we are there every summer and it’s my favorite place in the world.
If it wasn’t for my nostalgia and family ties, Nantucket would rival it. Totally serious. We want to go back every summer.

To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment on this post below.
For extra entries, you can like Pavan on facebook and follow them on twitter or instagram (which, by the way, I’m obsessed with since it’s so beachy and dreamy… it’s so ME) and leave a comment saying you did so.
[Please be sure to leave a valid email address (where it says “email” in the comment section) so I can contact you if you win – your email will not show up in the public comment, will not be disclosed to anyone but me or used for anything else. The giveaway closes Thursday night and the winners will be contacted by email and announced on this post.
P.S. so much more Nantucket info to come. Man I loved that place.
[as a note, all of my favorite things were purchased by me. Pavan purchased the extras to give away to you guys.]

Jesus, new mission is to visit Nantucket as soon as I can. I fell in love with the scenery from your instagram and got reminded with this post. Thank you for taking us with you! :)
I absolutely love Nantucket! I visited a friend there last summer and did not want to come home! I also got to see it in its warm and sunny glory, so that was an added bonus :)
I followed along with your pictures on instagram and Nantucket looks beautiful! I definitely want to go there at some point.
My only memory of Nantucket is going there and to Martha’s Vineyard when I was tiny. I remember lots of flowers, the air being cold enough that we had to buy matching sweatshirts for everyone, and a carousel with a brass ring game. And even now, I don’t know which of those happened at which place. Ah, well.
Yep, that was all Martha’s Vineyard. Whoopsies.
I now like Pavan on facebook! So excited to try some of their product.
Have never been to Nantucket, but looks like I will have to take a trip soon!! Great post! :)

I am about to head to the east coast from California, I hope it stops raining for my vacation.
LOVE Nantucket. Haven’t been there since I was a kid but I had the best time. So beautiful and full of character!

I’m stuck in Northern California, but I really shouldn’t complain :).

Yea for Michigan! What city do you travel to?
Looks amazing!
OMG, Dream to go to Nantucket, but to hear that it is like Northern MI, SWOON even more! I am making my first pilgrimage (this year) to TC in two weeks (too long)!!
It looks so pretty! Can’t wait to take my own summer vacation.
Nantucket is a lovely place that I would love to visit! There’s something so relaxing about the simple life, small town feel. it reminds you to slow down & appreciate things more. I’m looking forward to more posts on your trip. Thanks!!
Followed on fb and twitter!
I was born and raised just outside of Boston and still reside here.
Many of us here in MA tend to take The Islands …Nantucket and Martha’s Vinyard…for granted. THey are there, they are interesting, they are part of the Cape…whatever. It take a visiting voice to remind us how truly beautiful and special both these islands just off the coast are.
The hydranga picture is perfect…so Cape Cod and so beautiful.
I am happy to hear you had fun and look forward to reading more about your viisit.
Ugh what a dream!! I must go there one day! Keep the pictures coming!
love Nantucket! A definite reminder of home, originally from Mass but moved away years ago. Would love to try those items & support the local businesses up there
I love Nantucket!
Just. Yum.
We went there for the first time last August…I would love to go back!

It is a magical place! Glad you had fun!
I want goodies! I want to pretend like I’ve been to Nantucket!
As long as you love Northern Michigan best forever and ever, we can like Nantucket, too.
Ohhhh great pics and picks :)
I wish the rain would go away too… maybe someday I can visit Nantucket, rain or shine
Looks like a beautiful vacation!
Rainy day spent in Nantucket bakeries: Be still my heart! I wish that’s what I was doing right now!
Loved seeing all your photos! Everything looked amazing!!
I need to visit Nantucket some day! And eat that Fleur de Sel caramel sauce with a spoon.
