Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My magic moment this summer is this Saturday, August 30th when I get to marry the love of my life! I have been preparing for it for a year, so it’s not cheating that it’s in the future :)
My magical moment of the summer was while sitting on the beach with the breeze blowing all around me and realizing I had let go of all my stress and anxieties that generally plague me throughout a typical work day and realizing that I was truly living in the moment and enjoying every minute of it.
I also preordered your book the first day it was available!! Cannot wait. So sad you’re not coming to Chicago though.
My magic summer moment: 6 days of sailing coastal Maine on a historic schooner called the J&E Riggin. Oh. My. GOD. I did not want to come home! It was amazing. It was beautiful. It was a tad chilly. There was music. There was fun. The food was to die for. If Annie Mahle contacts you about possibly coming on a press sail, PROMISE me you’ll go!
My magic summer moment was hearing my son tell me he loves me for the first time. He’s 18 months and his little personality is bursting out! Thanks for the opportunity to win and best of luck with your little one :-).
My favorite moment from this summer was sitting out on Chix’s Beach in Virginia, soaking up the sun with my very best friend in the entire world. We were roommates all through college, both moved halfway across the country, and somehow ended up three hours away from each other, but have not seen each other since February. It was fantastic to catch some rays, play in the surf, gossip, and catch up on trashy romance novels. It reminded me of the countless hours we spent in college just doing… nothing! together, and also reminded me of how blessed I truly am to have a friend like her.
My magic moment this summer was moving across the country to start my career as a professional ballet dancer! This was my dream since age 2, and I still pinch myself because it’s hard to believe it has become a reality!
I also (finally!) pre-ordered a copy of the cookbook. Feel like I have been waiting years for this :)
And I pre-ordered your book last week through Barnes & Noble! Can’t wait for it to finally come!!

This Is a great giveaway-thank you!!
my magic moment this summer was watching my boys play at the beach. We planned a trip to Disney, which was wonderful, but their favorite part was the simple joy of playing at the beach–and ice cream shop.
My magical moment happened last weekend on the golf course. I was golfing with my husband and a quick thunderstorm rolled through in the middle of our round. We raced through the course on our golf cart trying to get back to the clubhouse, but didn’t quite make it. We were stuck waiting it out under a tree trying to stay warm and dry together. Looking out at the rain over the golf course was so pretty – so much NATURE. It was good.

annnnnnnnd just pre-ordered the cookbook… I never order cookbooks but let’s be honest – you’ve not done be wrong and even a novice impatient and A.D.D. cook like me can manage at least 50% of what’s inside… plus you make green things edible… :) yay
My magical moment happened all summer- I worked for a music festival that provides free outdoor classical music in Millennium Park in Chicago! So fun! Love your blog.
My magic moment was jetskiing in Vermont with friends from kindergarten!
My magical moment happened early in July – I went camping with friends and on the last night we roasted marshmallows for s’mores, there were shooting stars, we drank way too much sangria, and I snuck out into the woods with my summer fling. It was ridiculously (disgustingly) perfect.

My magical moment was spending a nice long weekend with my mom, my aunt, my cousin, and her brand new baby. We ate a lot, we drank wine, and we watched Call the Midwife until all hours. And of course took turns snuggling the new baby.
watching our kids enjoying our (newly fenced) back yard – they’re a little older and more adventurous this year, and LOVING the summer! So super precious to watch <3
Playing on the beach with my kids.
I ordered seriously delish! Seriously deliver it already :)
My magic moment was when my summer internship turned into a full-time job offer. I recently graduated college and the job market is as rough as it’s ever been. I’m only 21, have worked throughout college and maintained a high GPA, but even that didn’t seem like “enough” to get a good job. I started my internship with a positive attitude and worked endlessly in hopes of making a lasting impression. I had to hold back happy tears the moment my supervisor pulled me aside and told me he wanted to bring me on full-time. It was truly “magical.” As I move into my first real apartment and become a real, live, working 9-5 ‘gal, these prizes would be the cherry on top of this magical summer. :)
What an amazing and generous giveaway! My magic moment this summer has been spending time with all my loved ones at the same beach house I spent most summers of my childhood. The nostalgia associated with it is wonderful. Looking forward to your book :) xx
My magical moment this summer was during a Yoga Brunch (for two) that I bought for my best friend and I for her birthday. It was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday–Yoga was held in the shaded grass garden to the side of a local hotel. It was soothing and allowed me to release all the stress from the week past. Following the class, we headed indoors for bottomless cocktails and tapas. The day really helped me to appreciate good friends, good food, and eating good food with friends.
My magic moment this summer was enjoying a lovely blended latte from a little shave ice shack next to the beach in Maui. It was a perfect vacation and just the break that I needed after graduating from college!
