Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My magic moment was reveling in the awesomeness that is Beyonce while fireworks went off during the 4th of July weekend!
Spending a day on Coney Island with my best friend (who I don’t get to see nearly as much as I’d like anymore), just enjoying the gorgeous weather and catching up.
I’m overseas and all I want is the Jeni’s ice cream!! I’m from Columbus and I am dying for some Salty Caramel. In fact I had to unlike their Facebook page because I just couldn’t think about it any longer. I am not a gelato fan and am really missing American ice cream!
My magic moment was going to a concert for my birthday with all my best friends. It was really simple but it was nice to have us all together in one place!!
My magical moment this summer was a European vacation with my husband for 1 month and eating all the deliciously amazing food that Denmark, Germany, Poland and Spain had to offer. Yum!
Laying by the pool relaxing with my hubs on lazy Sunday afternoons. MMhmmm.
Sitting on the deck of my first vacation cruise alone with my husband after raising four girls. After 25 years of enjoying raising children our baby turned 18. We celebrated our accomplishments and relaxed and enjoyed each other!

This summer my friends and I took a day trip to Calico Ghost town (near Yermo, CA) and stopped at Peggy Sue’s Diner afterwards. Ghosts, antiques, kitsch, and amazing food. I fully recommend it. It was awesome. My cheeks still hurt from smiling just thinking about it.
My magic moment is one that repeats with increasing frequency as my grandson is becoming more and more verbal–seeing his huge smile as he points when I drive up and says “Mimi’s car!” Sweetest sound ever!
My magical moment was Saturday, when I married the love of my life in the most beautiful, fairytale way ever. Still reliving the magic every day when I see the pictures!
My magic moment was picking up my boston terrier named Bo! My first dog and my boyfriend and I’s first pet as a couple. Love at first site is real. You’re the greatest for this giveaway. So much good stuff!! <3 xo
my magic moment was having the entire summer with the love of my life, especially at the beach! can’t believe summer is almost over.
Getting engaged on the beach! <3
aaaaaand just pre-ordered your amazing book!
My magic moment of the summer was when my new hubby and I adopted a terrier mix, Tito. We thought we’d get a dog years down the road when we had kids and could convince them to walk the animal in the rain, snow and all other yucky days. But he’s stolen our hearts and I can’t imagine not having him in our lives.
My magic moment of the summer was gmarryin my husband! It could not have been a more perfect day :)
Spending time with my 2 year old son is always magical. And watching him play in the sand on the beach for the first time – he loved it!
Preordered because I can’t resist.
Watching my two young girls play in the ocean and waves for the first time.
My magic moment was a trip to a bed & b-fast in MN w/ my boyfriend.
My magic moment was finding out we’re pregnant with our 3rd kid! :)
My magic moment was giving birth to my first child and my two best friends also gave birth to theirs. There is nothing more magical than sharing that with them.
This sounds cheesy but my husband and I got to take our 2 1/2 and 5 year old daughters to the beach and Disneyland this Summer and I promise, I remember every look of awe and wonder on their faces from that entire trip. The whole thing was joyful and exciting, so worth it. So, favorite moments were watching my 5 year old jump and splash in the ocean and my 2 year old run away from “the bubbles” (the tide) with glee AND watching them sweetly and shyly meet all the princesses at Ariel’s Grotto AND all the squeals of delight riding the rides. Sweet memories.
Just preordered my book – so excited!
Magic moment – getting to see two of my best friends get married and catch up with all the guests – what a great day!
My most favourite moment of the summer what giving birth to my baby boy, being a mum is so much better then i ever thought possible :) :) :)
I can’t preorder your book because I have to buy it from the Houston bookstore so I can get you to sign it! Does this count?
I have had so many magic moments – from watching the fireworks in Maui for the fourth, to finally talking with my longtime boyfriend about taking the next step and purchasing a house, but I think what tops everything was seeing my boyfriends’ dad propose to his girlfriend of 4 years last weekend (she said yes!). It was so sweet, meaningful, and showed just how much love is shared between those two. Now on to wine tasting in Eastern Washington this weekend – hopefully more magical moments on the way!
My fiance and I work for the same company, at different locations. Our wedding is in March 2015 and we live seperately, at home with our parents. (everyone thinks we’re crazy, but that is another story) We live in seperate towns about 20 miles apart (in Houston traffic, this translates to about 45 minutes apart). To make matters worse, we work in each other’s towns. Meaning, every morning I get up and drive 45 minutes to his side of town, while he gets up and heads to mine. We both work full time and part time in the evenings at other jobs. The point is that NOTHING ever goes as planned or is easy for us. We’ve accepted this. About 5 weeks ago, the HR manager called and asked if I would like a position closer to home. I said yes! So, I’m now working, where I live. He took my vacated position, so he is working where he lives! Yay! The best part is that him at my previous location, is closer to the town that we would love to buy a house in (once we’re married). Because our company does not allow family members to work together, I have to find a new job (boo) BUT since my fiance is now in the right location, the only two things to do are find me a new job and find a house we love. Now this sounds all confusing and silly, but the day that it all COMPLETELY UNEXPECTEDLY WORKED OUT FOR US FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, I called him and just cried. I could hear his excitement in his voice as he said “it’s finally our turn.” So, that was my magical summer moment.
Also, jumping off the roof of a boat storage into the river was pretty magical (aka basically the scariest thing I’ve ever done) as well!
My magic moment happens Friday – my 30th birthday! Excited (and a little scared)!
My magic moment of the summer was turning 30!
My magic moment was nannying for two wonderful kids and creating special memories with them, all while living at home with my mom and dad who are my true role models! Now back to college for senior year ;-)

Also, just pre-ordered your book! I CANNOT WAIT! :D
I pre-ordered your book with Blue Willow so that I could have the chance to meet you in Houston!! EEEEK!!!
I had a total fangirl moment at 8:30 one morning when I read your post about book tour locations. I wasn’t even going to look at it because I figured you wouldn’t make it down here… but I DID! AND YOU ARE! I called my fiance and announced it to my coworkers. Then I had to wait for the book store to open so that I could call them and ask “HOW DO I GET TO MEET JESSICA?!” :)
We’ve had my aunt, 2 year old cousin, and her 3 month old twin sisters at my house for the summer, and it’s been pretty rough sometimes. However, my magic moment was seeing the 2 year old make her sisters smile for the first time. Quite possibly the cutest thing I’ve ever witnessed.
My magic moment was surprising my daughters (ages 8,9, and 10) by taking a train to Boston and going to the Katy Perry concert!
My magic moment was sunset boating with some of my best friends!
I’ve had a wonderful summer filled with many lovely memories but I think my truly magic moment has not happened yet. I think it will be in two weeks when I head to the Algarve in Portugal for a wedding. I can’t wait to see a new place, enjoy the sunshine and most importantly… wine and dine :)
Magic Moments! Ah its summer-so many! Probably when our families were here! WE live clear across the country from everyone, so it’s so amazing when we get a chance to see them! Amazing giveaway, thank you :)
My magical moment is riding a roller coaster with my daughter, who is now tall enough!
My magic moment would have to be our beautiful vacation to California. Driving on the coastal highway and watching the sunset. A beautiful time with family.
My magic moment is renfest on my anniversary. We totally let loose! lol.
Welp, this whole summer has been a bust in terms of summery fun. LOTS of changes at work have required an excessive amount of overtime since the middle of May. The most magical moment was getting a giant promotion at work!
My magic moment was my first kohr brothers cone of the season down the shore!
Definitely pre-ordered your book! Cant even wait to get it! I use your blog soooo frequently when meal planning! love it!

My magic moment this summer was participating in the Seawheeze half marathon in vancouver! It was such an amazing experience and I finished the run exactly on my goal time! Also, I graduated nursing school!
My magical moment this summer came when I decided to take a weekend and meditate and do an isolation tank. I feel like it honestly changed the entire way I go about my life and it has made me so much more present and grateful so all kinds of things seem magical now.
