Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)

You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My moment this summer was really a long weekend–spent in Austin, going to see The Who’s Tommy at the Zach theater, staying in a lovely hotel and enjoying some delightful meals, shopping and movie going.

My magic moment was when my hubby told me that he’s ready to have kids now.
One special experience from this summer was when I baked chocolate chip cookies and banana bread with my 5-year old niece. She lives across the country from me, and I can only see her a couple of times a year. After devouring some warm cookies and brownies with ice cream, she looked at me and said I was the best chef she knew. I love how cooking bonds people together!
My husband and I moved to California this summer!

My magic moment from this summer has been being out on the river. I bought a Groupon to celebrate my boyfriend and I’s anniversary and the deal was a 90 minute sunset boat tour. There were just six of us on the boat, plus the amazing captain, and it was such a serene, unique experience that I was so happy to share with my boyfriend. I also got to see Portland from a different point of view and it gave me a new appreciate for it.

The most magical moment of the summer is a tough one. I had the best summer of my life this year, filled with many adventures and lots of quality time spent with family and friends. The most magical of all would have to be one of my last nights with some of my closest friends. One of my best friends who rarely opens up to people told us how much we mean to him and how lucky we are to have each other. I replayed this moment over and over in my head for the next few days. This was especially meaningful because I’m going to college a long way from home and it really showed me all that I have to cherish at home. I am the luckiest person in the world to be surrounded by such genuine love.
Seeing my sweet puppy swim for the first time was my most magical summer moment. I squealed a jumped around like a crazy person. Thank you for the lovely giveaway!

My magic moment was a couple of weeks ago. Most of my family was in town to celebrate my Dad. This year he celebrated his 80th birthday and his retirement at 45 years practicing medicine in the same clinic where his parents practiced medicine. We also were able to celebrate my mom.. She began this year with a stage 3b lung cancer diagnosis. I am happy to report she is in remission and is now celebrating life!
