Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. Hi!
My magic moment this summer was a very lovely day on the beach with my mom. Thanks for picking out really spectacular prizes! :)
My magic moment wasn’t very magical at first! My 9 year old choked on my age when he asked how old I am and I answered 35. I can count many other times I had felt better about myself! Then I looked at him and my life and realized the magic happens everyday as he learns are grows (and chokes) and we grow as his parents and together. That’s magic, my husband and my son!
My magic moment this summer was a family vacation that included 4 generations; my grandparents, parents, my husband and myself and our children.
My magical moment was harvesting 20 lbs of tomatoes with my husband from our first garden this summer.
My magic moment this summer was hiking to see the Hollywood sign with my boyfriend and watching the sundown together.
One of my magic summer moments this year was biking on the boardwalk next to the beach in Seaside OR. So beautiful.
My magic moment this summer was enjoying a mojito on gorgeous Lake Michigan!
My magical moment was a trip to Door County with my husband, our 3 year old and my parents — we make this trip every summer but it never ceases to be that high point of our summer. We have a week together to make memories and … eat lots of ice cream. The rule on the trip is that we must have ice cream every day. No argument here.
Also pre-ordered a copy of Seriously Delish :)
By far… laying on the beach by the ocean! it doesn’t get any better than that…

Can I have a 2 way tie for my most magical summer moment?? First is getting engaged to my wonderful fiancé :) and just this past weekend we had our offer accepted on our first home! It has been a big, life changing summer and we could not be happier, as I’m sure you and your husband are as you anxiously await your bundle of joy- so happy for you!
This summer’s magic moment: Fresh mojitos around the campfire, in the middle of the woods, under the stars. Yup. Brought fresh mint leaves and a cocktail shaker to our campsite.

My most magical moment was when I was visiting my mom, who has early onset Alzheimer’s and can’t speak or function very well anymore, and we went to see a local artist who she absolutely loves play a concert at a community hall and her face lit up, her toes were tapping, and she was singing along. It’s nice to see her still be able to enjoy something, and I’m glad I was there with my family to be part of it. I don’t live nearby and often I miss out on things like that.
