Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. Just the time that I’ve been able to spend with my family has made this the most magical summer we’ve had in a long time. For the first time in years, I’m working 15 minutes from home versus almost 2 hours and it has been so awesome :)
Most magical part of my summer was moving into a new house with my boyfriend! And I cannot wait for September 2 to get my hands on your new book!!!!
My magical moment this summer was it’s entirety – making the most of every final moment with my mother and my dad and 17 year old sister (I’m 21) before stage four brain cancer takes her. It has been the most difficult, meaningful, and magical summer I’ve ever experienced; as well as seeing the outpouring of love and care for us and my mother. Those are my magic moments of the summer.
My magic moment this summer was when I was scalloping in Florida with my husband, father-in-law, best friend and her husband. The water was like glass. The weather was perfect. We saw dolphins feeding, turtles all over the place… oh and the scallops were delish :)

When the baby in my tummy decided to
Cause me a pinched nerve leaving me
Unable to walk…magical!!! :P just thought you may be able
To relate :)
My magic moment this summer was finding out the gender of my first baby…a boy! My husband and I were at the ultrasound together and both were thinking it may be a girl, since every one of my husband’s siblings that has kids has boys. We couldn’t be happier though and are excited for this new chapter in our lives. It’s funny…so many of the blogs I follow, the blogger is pregnant! Quite the coincidence. I am due in November (which is also my birthday month)….aren’t you due then too? Wishing you the best during the rest of your pregnancy :)
My magical moment was when I was sitting with my husband on the send, at a beautiful beach, watching the sunset, and my three little girls run back and fourth from the water to us, so happy and calm, that’s a moment you realize you need nothing else in life, you just have it all…
My magic moment was one afternoon on a bike ride when I saw a HUGE beaver waddle across the trail right in front of me. RANDOM. But seriously, it was surreal and very cool.
Maybe that’s lame? Probably. Actually definitely.
But it was a huge beaver so that’s magical.
I preordered your book! Can’t wait to get it in the mail!
Congrats on all the magical moments you’ve been having!!
My trip to Turks & Cacios!

My magic moment of summer was being able to go home – to Pittsburgh! :) I married a Navy man four years ago, which meant I had to leave the city I love. We now live in Oklahoma. As I sat on the steps near the Carnegie Science Center with a dear friend next to the river, overlooking the beautiful skyline, I was more content than I’ve been in a long time.
All the time spent with my 4.5 month old son! Motherhood is awesome ;)
My magic moment from this summer was kissing my now-boyfriend after our first date. We were on the top of a mountain looking over all of Denver.
Also, already pre-ordered a copy of Seriously Delish! So pumped for this!
My magical summer moment… probably yesterday. I’d just gone swimming for the first time all summer and my hair was part wet/ part dry, and their was a breeze (that was actually cool air, against all odds) and the lighting and temperature and sound of the leaves in the trees all reminded me of hot summer days growing up. It was wonderful. I hope you’re having some magical summer moments yourself!
My magic moment of the summer was getting engaged in front of the Pacific Ocean in Oregon during what felt like a sand storm! So romantic, so magical. Loved every second of it, even the part when a lot of sand got in my mouth.
My magic moment this summer was a day at the beach with my son and my husband and my mom. It was sunny and peaceful and fun!
Traveling with my family.
I had a magical day at my friend’s lake house over the 4th of July weekend. Tubing, laying out, homemade pizza for lunch, cornhole, a huuuuuge smorgasbord of tasty eats for dinner, ice cream cake, and lots of laughs and drinking games.
Mine is more of a scary magic moment, and it’s yet to happen. It will be the day I leave my daughter (my oldest child) at university (she’ll be in Ontario and we live in Alberta). She’s growing up and I’m thinking that although it will be a hard day, it is proof that she is becoming the wonderful young lady we knew she would become 18 years ago.
My magic moment will be meeting my brother for the first time tomorrow!
What an awesome giveaway! Love your blog – it always makes me happy to read your posts. My magic moments involved hanging out with my 10-month-old daughter – being a mom is the best!!

My magic moment this summer was laughing, chatting (and drinking…) on various floating seats in the lake at our cottage with my large extended family.
