Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!

My magic moment was (slightly early for summer) in May, when I got promoted to a full-time, with benefits, totally perfect job in my field of study. I didn’t even have to interview for the new position (which is SERIOUSLY magic because interviews are the WORST).
I was job hunting for a long time and had a rough patch for a year or so, but getting the entry-level job and then this one was such a dream.

Love your blog and this giveaway! My magic moment of the summer was traveling to Maine for my 1 year wedding anniversary and re-living all the wonderfulness of that day. Life is so busy and hectic, it was important to slow down and spend the quality time in such a special place to us. Wishing you all the best in your pregnancy!
my magic moment was a family reunion that happens every three years, over a 100 family members this year!
My magic moment this summer was my sons’ birthday party. A sudden, crazy down pour appeared out of no where, ruined all of our decorations and almost soaked the food. But it turned a little kid water party into a wild water war with adults and kids playing in the rain and throwing water balloons. Even the grandparents got in on the fun. Best. Party. Ever.
My magic moment was watching two friends getting married in Colorado, and sharing in their love with all the other guests!
I discovered your blog earlier this year, and have already pinned sooo many of your recipes. And bought some of your favorite beauty products, which have been great. I just pre-ordered your book on Amazon and CANNOT wait to read it!
My most magical summer moment had actually been this whole weekend- my friends went together on a beach house on Cape Cod to have a bachelorette weekend for me. It’s been incredible!
Going to the beach for a girls weekend!!
My magic moment from this summer was going tent camping with my husband and dog early in the season. Despite the rain, we managed to enjoy the entire weekend.
My magic moment was when I completed my residency and began working as an attending for the first time. It really was magically after 12+ years of education!
My magic moment was the other weekend sitting outside, looking at the Pacific Ocean having beer and a cheese plate with the one that I love!
My magic moment this summer was to beat the humidity and 100 degree weather by escaping to the mountains with my family! Breathtaking scenery, family time, beautiful weather and of course great food!
My magic moment this summer was graduating from college!
I have had a lot of magical moments this summer. One that stands out is our trip home to the east coast with our baby girl.
My magic moment this summer was spending time with my baby girl. She is amazing and brightens my day!
I preordered your book back in July! Can’t wait to get it from Amazon.
Magic moment this summer: sitting on the road in Pagosa Springs, CO with my bestie watching a spectacular lightning show all around us.
I have a tie, and both of them happily involve food! I was visiting my boyfriend (as I do in the summer, we’ve been long distance for about 3 years and recently decided to see each other only twice a year for longer visits) and made him a very belated birthday cake of his choice. I had a blast making him blackberry brandy pie that turned out really well, and it was lovely to sit and talk with him and enjoy some pie and clotted cream and delicious, delicious coffee. He now has a picture on his desk of me in the kitchen, holding the fresh-baked pie and grinning like a Cheshire cat.
(Not to end on a depressing note, but …) The other just recently occurred, as my grandmother decided to stop dialysis and move home for hospice care. I was able to fly out to see her despite it being the very busy beginning of the school year (I’m a teacher) and multiple hurricanes being forecasted for Hawaii, and we had a lovely visit over her dinner right after I got in at the airport perfectly on time. She enjoyed her dinner and ate all of her dessert (jello with whipped cream!), and we talked a bit while watching some Wheel of Fortune. I felt so blessed to have spent that time with her, especially since she passed away the next morning. I’ve always wanted to be the kind of cook that she was, and I’m so glad that my last memory of her involves her unfettered enjoyment of a delicious splurge.
And I am so excited for your book! It will be my request for Christmas this year. Congratulations, and don’t forget to have fun as we plunge into fall! I
My magic moment was jumping into the ice cold spring water of Jacob’s Well – so very summer. :)
My moment was celebrating my 30th with my bf and my family that flew down for it!
My magic moment this summer was when I finally moved back to Quebec City. In 2013, I moved to another city for a new job, 500km away. I missed my friends and family so much that I decided to come back. This summer, I was reunited with them and I realized that I could not be away from them, they’re the most important thing in my life :)
Such an amazing giveaway from such an amazing person… I’ve been following your blog for a few years and it’s been my favorite ever since. Congratulations for your two babies to come ;-)

And I preordered your book from amazon!
The magical moment that kicked off my summer was graduating from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia with a degree in Hospitality Management. With all of my family in town, we kicked off the morning with a tailgate before the ceremony, then rented a condo in Massanutten and got to spend the night playing drinking games over Qdoba catering. The next day we celebrated Mother’s Day at the most beautiful vineyard – Early Mountain Winery. I then got to spend a weekend in Vegas with my sister to celebrate! With three other siblings in all different cities, it is very rare for us to have the opportunity to be together, so I truly cherish the moments we are. Booze, food, and family – what more could you ask for!
Magic moment – I won not one but two tickets to Sheila Kelley’s SKLIVE weekend retreat. Every woman owes it to themselves to experience her feminine genius in person at least once in their lifetime. I learned so much about myself and it was pure bliss to bask in all of the feminine energy that was gathered there that weekend. The icing on the cake though, was that I was able to take my 19 year old daughter I’m quite sure it is an experience that left her in awe of her own feminine genius. xo
Having dinners at my house with my closest friends. And using one of your many amazing recipes! That is just the perfect recipe for summer!
The whole summer was magic– I decided to take it off in between my masters and phd and even though I’m broke I do not regret having my last chance to relax at all! Nothing but hanging in the park with my dog, spending time with friends and family, and watching netflix!

My magical moment will be my wedding next weekend!!
My magic moment this summer was turning 29! sounds not that exciting but I’m entering this year with an attitude of “this is my year!” and a positive and grateful outlook. After a rough break-up I’m feeling more confident and sure of myself and this summer has really felt like a turning point for me.
Awesome giveaway!
My magic moment this summer, I’d have to say, was feeling my baby kick for the first time. I guess technically it was still spring (end of May), but I live in coastal Alabama so it feels like summer 8 months out of the year. :-)
