Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!
The giveaway will run until this Friday, August 29. The winner will be announced on this post and contacted by email. THANK YOU!

My magic moment this summer was to finally graduate with my Masters!!!
My magical moment was rescuing our sweet puppy Milo in July! His very pregnant momma was picked up by animal control and unless she had her puppies within the 72 hour stray hold, they were going to abort the puppies. Luckily, the most wonderful foster mom on the planet (seriously) rescued momma and saved 10 puppies who were born 6 days later! We were approved to be Milo’s adoptive parents a few weeks later and we can’t imagine life without him! All 10 puppies AND MOM were adopted and are in loving homes. Best feel good moment of the summer, by far!

My magical summer moment was getting my toes dirty in the community garden and teaching the neighborhood kids how to grow their own food. Of course, the best part was sampling our goods at the end of summer. Heirloom tomatoes are the tastiest when still warm from the sun of your garden and drizzled with good oil and balsamic + salt and pepper.
My most magical moment this summer was a first kiss <3 love is In the air!
Celebrating my boyfriend’s 21st at the Pirates game. The fireworks afterwards were absolutely stunning!

My summer magic moment was being able to take time off of work and school to go home and surprise my Dad for Father’s Day. I don’t think I have been able to celebrate Father’s Day with him since before I was in college.

My magic was spending a whole month at my happy place-the beach!
My magic moment was watching my second son don his #62 football jersey…in the footsteps of his dad and big brother. The legacy and example my husband gives them makes me grateful every day.
My memorable summer moment would be running a 5k at Yankee stadium (including time on the track around the field) to raise money for cancer research. I did the race with my cousins in memory of another cousin and in honor of my mom who is continuing in her battle. It was a great day.
Does graduating college count? Because I thought it was pretty magical to walk across the stage, get my diploma, and be rewarded for four years of hard work :)

My magic moment was going on my honeymoon—seven days in Maui was like heaven on earth!
My favorite magic moment of the summer is the day I got to spend with all of my nieces and nephews in the family pool. Teaching the little ones the basics of swimming and everyone got to have their choice of ice cream from the ice cream man. Sometimes something so simple as watching them sitting around the pool with ice cream on their cute faces can make the day perfect.
Full moon kayak with the swallows diving around my lanterns
My magic moment this summer would have been getting my A.A. degree after years of family issues, set backs, and other boulders in my life. And I love your website, all these years your recipes have been a source of happiness in trying new things.
I also just preordered the book! Can’t wait to get it!
My magic moment this summer was getting engaged! My fiancé and I are highschool sweethearts and have been together for 10 years so it was very exciting to finally make things official!
My magical summer moment was hearing Grandma say she was “going steady” with a dear family friend… and a week later that they were engaged! It’s been a number of years since Grandpa passed away, and I’m so glad that she will now have someone to go through the rest of her life with.
My magic moment was ziplining through the rain forest in Costa Rica! It was my first time ziplining and it felt every bit as freeing and exhilarating as I’d imagined!! That trip was worth every penny- what a beautiful country!
My daughter making the all stars for softball and playing in their games…..so awesome!!!!
