Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!

I am a long time reader, I love your blog and cannot wait for your cool book! My favorite summer moment was taking a trip to Traverse City to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. And more specifically, watching the sun set over the water on the Lealanau Peninsula on our final night. It is such a beautiful place and a great way to celebrate our first year together.
I hope you enjoy your time in MI on your vacay!
Getting to see my best friend again, for the first time since she moved away two years ago. She’s in a place that she loves and I’m so thrilled for her, but seriously, having thousands of miles between you and your best friend totally sucks. But she got some time off from work and was here for a month (!!!) and it was glorious.
The most magical moment of this past summer was when I got to take a trip to Nashville, TN to visit my cousin Natalie. My cousin Natalie was recently diagnosed with Acute AML Leukemia at just 24 years old. My mom and I hadn’t gotten a chance to see or visit her since getting the news of her illness. When we finally got the opportunity to fly down and see her, it was exactly what I needed. We were so stressed and worried for her and being with her allowed us to comfort her and let her know how much we love her. She is doing amazingly well considering her circumstances. Being with her and seeing her smile was the most magical moment I experienced in a very long time.
My magic moment this summer was actually just today! My husband and my bulldog were away on vacation for a week while I stayed behind for school and work. They came home today and I am over the moon happy to have them back!
My magic moment this summer would have to be when my son figured out how to walk…he did the one, two steps for a while and then in June it seemed to click and off he went. Now he’s toddling around with our dogs, and almost full out running which scares me lol
I also just preordered your book! Can’t wait to get it and start trying out the recipes! :)
Mine would be moving out to California in early summer after dreaming for many years of becoming a travel nurse. I finally made the gigantic leap and did it! And now I’m here, in Cali, and am loving every minute of it.
Magic moment this summer… Finding out we’re expecting baby #2 and that it’s a BOY!
Wowza! Such an amazing giveaway- so much so that even though I never win anything, I’m still going for this one! My most magical moment this summer was finding out that I’m preggers – and due in December – just like you!! First half of the summer I was sick beyond belief but I’m finally feeling better and embracing the pregnancy! My hubby and I want a vitamix beyond belief but with all the baby stuff happening, not sure if we can afford it right now. This giveaway would be everything!!

This was my first summer as a newlywed so I consider the entire summer and all adventures, both big and small, my husband and I have been on are my most magical moment(s)! Congrats on your book (will be going on my Christmas list as we are on a budget!) and on your soon-to-be little one!

Magical moment of the summer? Taking the kids to Disney and watching their faces as they met some of their favorite characters. I was pretty smitten meeting Ariel myself.
My magic moment wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, but the other week as I looked up from chair to see my husband grilling our chicken and corn to sit up on the deck on a perfect summer evening with a good bottle of wine and better company. There was that perfect summer smell in the air and for a moment, it didn’t feel like I had to go back to work the next day.
My moment was a road trip from California to Idaho with my 2 sons to see all of my family and meet my newest nephew (6th nephew, NO nieces in my family at all)!! All of my family lives in Idaho, so the times we are together fill the empty spot in my heart and make it complete! ♡
My magical moment … seeing my students graduate high school! It took them tons of hard work (and a little extra time), but I am so proud of them! I cried! (Which isn’t saying much since these “kids” always make me cry!)
And congrats on the new book – can’t wait for it to come in the mail!
My magic moment was a wonderful extended weekend with my sister in Sandpoint, ID. We have committed to going on a trip together every year and it has brought us so much closer. I love my sister!!!
My magic summer moment was spending a week at home with my son and going to the zoo, beach, and splash pad! And not doing a single household chore the entire week :)
My magical moment of the summer was when my boyfriend of seven years proposed to me just a few weeks ago! It was totally unexpected (for me, at least) and I am so incredibly excited to plan our wedding and begin this new journey in our lives together <3
Magical moment…spending all the summer moments with my daughter. I already miss her while we are both back to school (teacher.)

This is an amazing giveaway!! Thank you!! My magical moment was seeing my brother and best friend get married. Celebrating their love with family and friends was easily the best weekend of the summer.
I made sure to purchase a copy of your book and also since I work at a city library, I made sure we purchased a copy and that my county library purchased a few!
My magical moment was a quick trip to Kansas City for a friends wedding… Such a fun city and had a blast! I was able to visit old friends and make some new friends along with sampling some of KC’s finest barbecue! It was also magical to hear about your pregnancy!
My magical moment was finding our new house! It was exactly what we were hoping for and it fell right into our laps!

This has been a rough summer for me but seeing my husband ride a horse at the 4-h fair was pretty amazing!
Well… it’s Winter in Australia so to keep it current.. my most magical Winter moment is that my husband and I just went on holiday with my family to a cabin by a lake, with no phone reception or internet access. It was 10 days of writing, crocheting, and cooking with my Mum and sisters. Absolutely perfect.
Finding out we were pregnant on my husbands birthday!
My magic moment of the summer was taking a 13 hour road trip out to the Badlands with my boyfriend – we spent a week camping, hiking, and away from social media. It was a great way to enjoy each other and the great outdoors!
I had two….I got to attend the weddings of two couples whom I love and adore!
My magic moment was getting to be a part of my best friend’s wedding and seeing the happiness on her and her new husband’s faces :)
My magic moment from this summer was taking off work on a Friday to drive 500 miles to surprise my mom for her birthday! I hadn’t seen her in months. We got to the restaurant right after I did and I walked up to my mom in the bar seating area and asked “is this seat taken?” She looked up, said “sure” and went back to the menu. Then looked back up and started screaming and crying. Then we ordered bacon wrapped figs and drank fancy cocktails and had a great weekend!
My magic moment this summer was getting the news that my husband and I would be retuning to our hometown for a three year tour of duty. Its been so great to be home for most of this summer. We’ve been able to see our favorite people and do our favorite things again. Best Summer Ever
We just completed a huge landscaping project in our backyard, so my summer has been full of magic moments enjoying the new yard! Now there’s plenty of room for our puppy to play, a big patio and grilling area, and a huge outdoor chess board!
I’m in Australia so we are just finishing up with Winter, but the last Summer was great because I got to spend more time with my husband, who is a shearer, and he works really hard…and like ALL the time. Anyway, we went to two different rodeos, a shearers Christmas party on the river in someone’s paddock and went swimming in the Thompson River in the bush with our kids. It was bliss!
Wow, this is so generous. My magic moment this summer was watching the sunset on the beach with my children in Montauk, Long Island.
Spending my birthday with my boyfriend at the beach–we were only there for about 48 hours but it was exactly what I needed after spending much of my summer conquering my first semester of grad school. He’s my heart. :)
What an AWESOME giveaway!!! My magic moment was the birth of our first baby. Jack came screaming into the world at 3am a week and a half ago, on 8/13. A crazy labor and delivery (but are they ever NOT crazy?!) and we’re so thrilled with the outcome! Best summer ever, at least so far.
I also pre-ordered your book!
The highlight of my summer was spending quality time with my bf exploring the city that we’ve been living in for the past 3 years as students, but as adults.
Sending off paper lanterns last night with my friends over the lake last night.
And I pre ordered the book approximately three seconds after I saw that I could. Can’t wait!
Best part of my summer? Endless eclairs in Paris!
