Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. Pre-ordered your book on amazon.ca! So so excited. Hoping there’s some pizza recipes in there-I am so in love with your brussel sprout skillet pizza!
Summer is pretty short for us here in Northern Alberta, but it’s been a fantastic one! Travelling through BC with my hubby in our camper van was a definite highlight-beach bumming, crabbing, wineries, can’t summer last forever?! (And countless whatthehelldowewantfordinner’s ending with grilled bread!!)
Finding myself truly, not being afraid to show it and enjoying every day with my beautiful girlfriend who helped me see how to life live selflessly and all the good vibes that surround you when you do.
I put in my pre-order for the book! I just want to eat all the things.
Oooooh, summer, where have you gone??? My favorite moment was spending a long weekend with my boyfriend at Nemacolin’s Falling Rock. Wish I could have that 25-hour butler service for all days haha.

My magic moment was a trip to London and Paris with my entire family.. grandma included! It was amazing to spend time with the people I love in such beautiful places. It’s a trip that my grandmother had been wanting to take us on for years, and she finally got the chance to show us around some of her favorite places. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Amazing.
Running my first 10k and having my family waiting at the finish line!
My magic moment was seeing my family (& the gigantic bear hug my little sister gave me) at the airport after living abroad for 14 months! :) & of course I preordered your book because I pretty much drool over every Instagram picture you post .. can’t wait to try to re-create!
My magic moment this summer was actually having a summer! We didn’t get one last year because I spent it in the hospital helping my 4 year old son BEAT cancer. So every trip to the pool, the beach, the ice cream shop, and all the other things that our family normally does to enjoy summer were extra special this summer. :) Definitely magical.
Thanks for being a spot of bright and joy in my day. I will be click clicking my preorder of your cookbook.

WOOOOHOOOOO!!! So happy for you and your son! :-) I diagnose leukemia/lymphoma for a living, so I LOVE to see kids (and adults) kicking cancer’s butt!
I’m hoping that my magic moment for the summer will be my birthday this coming weekend, but if not, I’ve been to a couple of weddings that were pretty fun because I’m a sucker for anything wedding related.
My magic moment of the summer was just last weekend and it was so simple but such a perfect day. My roommates were gone for the weekend so I had some alone time to do whatever I wanted so I went for a nice run around the city (perfect temperature too!), went to yoga boot camp, treated myself to some Lululemon shopping afterwards, read outside in the sunshine on the porch and baked up some treats and dinner that evening. Sounds boring but it was all the things that make me happy :)
Welcoming our second daughter into the world!
Andddd for my second comment – I already pre-ordered! I did it the first day you posted the link. So so excited and I hope to meet you in Houston!

Congrats on everything and what an AWESOME giveaway :)
My best moment this summer was a much-needed family reunion in Narragansset, RI and walking the beach with my cousin Adrienne who I don’t often get to see. Even with all the hoopla of summer concerts, hiking, cocktail hours and fairs – nothing beats fam :)

My magic moment would have to be spending a few days soaking up the sun and devouring so much seafood/sweets/drinks in Newport, RI with my boyfriend! Love it there.
This summer’s moment was going back home, sitting outside with wine and ice cream, catching up with childhood friends!
My summer was magical because my boyfriend and I got disneyland passes. We are acting like kids every weekend and it’s the best!
My magical moment this summer was giving birth to my son, Abel, on June 30th. After struggling through three lost pregnancies, my husband and I were so blessed to welcome a healthy, happy baby. It truly was a magical moment for us! Congratulations on your pregnancy! Wishing you all the best as you prepare for your little one! I’ve loved reading about your experience…especially your morning sickness woes. I puked for pretty much 9 months straight so I can totally relate. The good news is recent studies have indicated that women who battle prolonged morning sickness have healthier and smarter babies! Best wishes!!
I’ve preordered your book too!! :)

My magic moment was when I came to the terrifying and exhilarating conclusion that, after 15 soul-sucking, mind-numbing years in corporate America, it was time to quit my job and start over. August 15 was my last day, and I’m preparing to go to Asia for the first time ever a week from tomorrow. My next magic moment will be playing with a baby elephant :D
Love your blog and all the recipes you share. Thanks! My magic moment for the summer was when I landed a new job that is closer to home and has better hours! Best gift ever!
