Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!
The giveaway will run until this Friday, August 29. The winner will be announced on this post and contacted by email. THANK YOU!

Getting a new job and loving it! It’s been a magical couple of weeks .
My magic summer moment was spending time with my godson at the beach.
I didn’t take a vacation this summer because work was so crazy but it was a sort of blessing in disguise. My most magical moment was gaining respect and acknowledgement from my boss that I handled a tough work situation and kept her calm during some stressful moments. It was truly a summer of personal growth and maturity that was not fully expecting but would not have traded it for the world. I have been an avid reader of yours for years and I hope you are feeling the same sense of pride and accomplishment (although scary at times!). Can’t wait to read the book (and hear about motherhood)!
Best moment of the summer? Bringing my husband home from the hospital!
I’ve already preordered your book and can’t wait to make all the things :)
I also preordered on Amazon!!! Can’t wait to get my copy!
My magic summer moment was hiking New York’s tallest Adirondack with a group of great friends and absolutely no worries in the world. Your blog is awesome :)
My magic moment was today, actually. I’m visiting my dad in Florida right now and today I met one of his friends who went on and on about how great of a guy my dad is, and how he’s so proud of my sisters and me. My dad and I are really close, and living so far (I’m in Boston) and only seeing him twice a year has been really hard. So glad I get a whole week with him!
my “magic” moment was leaving my boyfriend and the apt we shared, and knowing I will be better for it
My magical moment this summer was nothing too magical but a night out with my best friend being us! With no cares in the world!
You make me laugh, drool, snort coffee through my nose, want to lick the computer screen and so much more. I think I found you on IG first then made my way to your blog. This summer started out rough as we lost hubbies Dad the end of June so any magical moments have been few and far between. Leaning in and giving him strength when he needs it and then he doing the same for me – that is a true partner. We celebrated 13 years married in August and spent time at the cottage on the beach and having bonfires. Holding hands and looking up at the millions of stars in the sky – these are all magical times to me.
My magic moment(s) were simply the numerous BBQs with family and friends who I havent seen in awhile
Best summer moments- 1. Watching my daughter’s volleyball team play at Navy Pier. 2. Watching my son and his volleyball team play at Navy Pier. 3. When my son graduated 8th grade and we had a great shindig here for it! 4. When my son made Varsity golf as a freshman.
End of July, I spent a week at home on Kansas City and some time in Southern Missouri. Great time with family!
My magical moment is pending! I have been working like a dog all year saving most of my days off for my honeymoon and other wedding stuff. Friday is my first day off all year and I get to spend it with my best friends in Charleston for my bachelorette party. I am beyond excited.
My magical moment this summer was time spent with family and friend, on the lake, in northern MN :)
My magical summer moment was getting together with the whole Angelo clan for the first time in FOUR YEARS!!! (last time, my sisters and I were definitely relishing Christmas presents of sweet Abercrombie ripped jeans from Momma Ang) We crab boiled, drank way too many margs (is that possible?) , and built seriously strange sand sculptures (Mike Wizowski from Monsters Inc took home the prize). It was definitely a summer moment to remember!
My magic summer moment was being able to switch from working mom to stay at home mom, which happens every summer. This year, my boys are at the ages where going places and doing things with them is not only easy but truly enjoyable. It was magical for me to be able to witness all of their summer experiences, from the mundane of the local playground to the awe and wonder of rediscovering their love of the beach. And the ice cream for snack a few times a week (but shhhhh! don’t tell dad!). I go back to work tomorrow and will carry with me the memories of this summer. I only hope that you’ll have these wonderful experiences and much more when you become a mom!!!!
My magical moment this summer was, hands down, road tripping from Minneapolis to Winnipeg to see Béyonce and Jay-Z live in concert with three of my BFFs!
Can’t wait for your book to come out – definitely will be purchasing soon!

Spending two weeks in Montana with my husband! Amazing!
My magic moment this summer was celebrating mine and my husband’s first anniversary. We were able to get away from work for a whole week (nearly unheard of for my husband) and go to San Diego. I haven’t pre-ordered the book yet but my birthday is very soon after the release and it’s the first thing on my birthday wish list!
My magic summer moment was… a great time with the husband. Enough said.

Also- my hubby has preordered the book for me, and I think I might have to wait until Christmas for it! :( So sad!
My magic moment of the summer was meeting my neice, the beautiful Tessa Grace on the day she was born and watching my sister and brother inlaw transform into amazing parents right before my eyes. My family is the most important thing in my life and watching it grow and change in the most miraculous way has been a completely life changing experience. I will remember this summer forvever and always cherish it as one of my most favorite ever.
I pre-ordered your cookbook from Amazon!
Best moment was any time spent with my beautiful kiddos….so blessed!
I’m still waiting for my magic moment…we’ve hardly had a summer here…but so far, I’d have to say seeing Jay Leno in person in June.
This city girl taking the 19 hour trek to small town Tignish, PEI. Being taken on a 8 km hike through forests and fields by a 78 year old relative, and getting my first experience on a lobster fishing boat where the only way I could stay standing was to hold onto the bait box while getting completely soaked by the Atlantic. Talk about a fish out of water :) Such an experience!!
Favorite moment of summer has been the quiet nights in the back yard with a summer beer & a good book.
My magic moment was moving down to North Carolina from New York & being able to enjoy a much longer summer than my previous ~2 month summer! Love love!

My magic moment was the first one of my summer: being a proud “momma” and watching my students walk across the stage at their 8th grade graduation. It was such joy seeing the end result after a particularly tough year of school.
I took my first solo trip this summer to Montreal for 3 days. It was such a great experience and I surprised myself in a lot of life changing ways. Oh, and cupcakes! There were cupcakes :)
Definitely when we found out my husband had gotten past the first step to his green card! I am so excited it live with him in the U.S.!
