Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)

After a trying first few months of summer filled with medical issues and surgery, my husband and I went to Cape Cod for a few days at the end of July. My magic moment was sitting on the beach and watching the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. It was the first time (in a long time) where I could just be in the moment and not worry about anything else!

My magic moment this summer happened while working at the Young Life camp in Georgia. I got to bake treats for coworkers each week (several of them being secretly gluten and quasi dairy free) and have them feel loved via food (my favorite way to love people!) . It was so fun to host Sunday breakfast each week, as well as, surprise people with mini desserts throughout the week!
My magic moment this summer: vacationing in Nashville over the 4th of July with my husband, sister, and brother-in-law. So much great food, drinks, and live music!
What an awesome giveaway! My magic moment this summer was working with elderly patients in cardiac rehabilitation (I’m a student nurse). It reminded me to be grateful for my own health and mobility, and inspired me that it’s never too late to make changes in how you live your life. At first I was kind of bummed to be in school all summer, but it ended up being an incredibly rewarding experience that I did not anticipate. It was a joy to get to see my patients improve and become stronger this summer.
The best part of my summer was my brother’s wedding!
My magic moment was visiting Hershey park with my 3yr old for the first time, amazing through a child’s eyes!!
Biking in Chicago with my husband and family for July, 4th weekend, was most certainly my magic moment weekend. Something about the simplicity of biking among the skyscrapers made it such a memorable weekend:)

Hi!
I just came across your delicious food ideas on Instagram earlier this month and have fallen in love.
My magic moment from this summer would have to be when I went tubing in Ichtucknee Springs, FL. It was a rainy gloomy day to go, but once a couple friends and I arrived, it wasn’t gloomy at all. The water was the clearest I had ever seen and I was able to see the most seaweed and fish a girl could dream of seeing. As we floated down the spring for about 2 hours we witnessed more wildlife and more natural beauty than one could possibly expect to see in one day. It was truly the most magical moment of my summer.

This same time last summer I went to my cousins wedding and my other cousin had her baby on the same day. I took my father and mother to the wedding last summer. This summer i was able to reflect on that and remember a fun time we shared. My father passed away a few months ago, so this summer I have a great memory of all the laughs and jokes and him drinking out of my beer. Cheers pops! :)
Visiting chicago with one of my best friends and falling in love with the city at a cubs game.
My magic moment this summer was a beautiful sunset at Herring Cove beach near Provincetown, MA. My husband and I spent the day beach hopping, brought an awesome dinner with fancy deli sandwiches and treats from the deli next door to our rental, and we were treated to a gorgeous evening. It was pretty special to is because we’re expecting so next summer’s beach sunsets will be a little different with one more family member in tow :)
One of my favorite summer moments happened just the other day on the playground! I was pushing both my boys on the swing (each one on a separate swing) while my daughter looked on relaxing in her stroller. I realized how quickly time goes and in a few years while we may be at the same playground, things will be so different. I almost wanted to stop time just for that moment so I could truly appreciate my kids and how blessed I truly am!! :)
And I preordered your book on amazon! CANNOT WAIT.
Oh man, that all looks wonderful. :) So, here’s my magical summer moment. My little sister is adopted from China, and every summer we go to a reunion with all of the families we traveled with and their little girls. They’re not babies anymore- nine and ten years old! But so here we are in this lounge room of our hotel singing karaoke. There are all these dark haired little Asian girls giggling and singing their hearts out to Katy Perry. And I just thought, wow. Here are all these kids who didn’t really stand a chance, right? For whatever reason, their families couldn’t keep them. And now look at them. They’ve got families, they’ve got friends, they’ve got futures. I still get weepy thinking about it. That was really, really magical.
And seriously delish is on pre order!!
What a great giveaway! This summer was filled with so many moments. My daughter graduated high school in June and then we spent the summer getting her ready for college. They were all amazing moments but nothing will beat the expression on her face when she was accepted, enrolled, had her books and her book bag was packed…a week early. I love how excited she is!

My magic summer moment was moving from a climate of foggy summers (San Francisco) to the ‘burbs and having a REAL summer. Can you say pool day??
My magic moment this summer was getting to spend a perfect beach day with my sister and best friend for my birthday, we didn’t care that it was cloudy and cold because we had wine and the best snack shack onion rings involved!

My magic moment if the summer was having a saturdate with my bf at the beach, Mexican food on a patio for dinner and visiting the aquarium in the evening. Perfect summer day.
