Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My magic moment this summer was renting a house for the week in Ocean Beach in San Diego. This desert girl looks forward to the beach all year.

My magic moment of the summer was holding my niece for the first time. I don’t consider myself a “baby person,” but I totally fell in love with wiggly little Margot in my arms.
My magic summer moment was taking our dog Murphy to the lake and watching her swim her little heart out!
Taking my baby boys to the beach!
My magic moment this summer happened after I flew home for vacation. Nothing beats the whole family getting together to continue a family tradition of a huge meal of crabs and spaghetti. Lots of laughter and lots of love.
My magical moment was spending Fourth of July weekend watching the phillies vs the pirates at PNC Park. While I am from Ohilly, Pittsburgh’s park is one of the prettiest I’ve seen and I love watching games there.
My summer magic moment was my son’s first birthday. I can’t belive I have such a beautiful, funny, amazing boy.

my magic moment this summer was watching my niece and nephew swimming, fully clothed, in the Atlantic at Short Sands in York, ME. Their love for the waves brings me back to childhood, and I feel so lucky to witness it.
My magical moment this summer when my mom was home from the hospital for a few weeks and started joking around and giving dad a hard time about all of his unfinished projects throughout their house. She had been sick with a serious infection, so it had been a few months since I had heard her laughter and joking.
I also pre-ordered Seriously Delish from Amazon a while back – I am so excited to come to your book signing in Pittsburgh!
Magic moment this summer was making strawberry jam for the first time!

My magic moment this summer was moving into my new, awesome apartment with a new, awesome kitchen! Oh, and meeting my baby niece….annnnd climbing a few mountains. Its been the best summer!
My magic moment would have to be biting into the first garden grown tomato at my new house. My boyfriend and I bought the tiniest little place and planted a garden late this spring – there’s nothing like finally having your own place and your own garden, no matter how small.
I also pre-ordered your book on Amazon two weeks ago! (Technically it’s a “surprise” from my boyfriend, but he couldn’t keep it a secret!!) love you!
My magic moment was hiking/biking along some beautiful trails with my husband and dog.
We were taking a walk with our little boy in a dog costume and all of a sudden, I noticed the sunset. We stopped dead in our tracks and took it all in—ALL. Beautiful moment, beautiful summer, beautiful life.
This summer magical moment was spending time at the finger lakes and visiting local wineries with my finance and family. The eats are even surprising with venison hot dog with coleslaw..
Oh, and I can’t wait for you to come to Seattle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You’re going to love it!!
It’s hard to pick just one moment, because this summer rocked. Although I didn’t get to travel exotic places, I got to spend every day with my 5-month old daughter (first child, and I’m a teacher so that’s why I’m home every day). It’s been magical getting to have all this daddy-daughter (and mommy) time. My most magical of all my magical summer moments…watching the look of sheer confusion turn into delight on my daughter’s face when we gave her a teeny tiny taste of whipped cream from our ice cream sundae. So perfect! :)
Magical summer moment…A week off from work hanging out with the kiddo. Baking, watching movies, playing video games, oh and her helping me cook dinner every night. Best vacation ever!
I finally went paddle boarding!
On June 28th, under the sunshine and in front of family and friends I married my best friend. After a 5-year “short” long-distance relationship (32 miles makes for wonderful weekends, but lonely weekdays), we are finally together every beautiful day. Magical indeed :)
This has been one of the best summer’s ever! I would say my ultimate magic moment was watching my 2 little girls play in the ocean together for the first time.
Ooh, it’s been a great summer! Best part was the mini getaway weekends we did visiting old friends. Relaxing, awesome time with the kids and so low stress!

My magic summer moment was going to my sister’s gender reveal party…she’s having a boy!!!
I have lots of great moments from the summer but I think my favorite is our family vacation to Sandbridge VA! It was the first vacation with my whole family in over 15 years!!!
My magic moment this summer was landing my dream job getting to work with seniors that have Alzheimer’s and dementia. It is such a blessing to enrich their lives daily!
I pre-ordered in July!
A tie between seeing my second squirmy little squishy second baby for the first time, butt-first, and finding out my new best friend was a BOY. And seeing my two years olds eyes completely tilled with sheer happiness when our whole loud family began to sing happy birthday to him and he realized that everyone was there just for him. What a wonderful summer we had!
Goodness, summer is over already?
I think my magic moment was dancing in a wheelchair. I have been dancing for about five years now, but this stunner I fell off my horse and fractured my hip, so I was in the wheelchair for about three weeks. The first time I went out in it, my friends couldn’t let me sit it out, so they took me out on the floor in the chair. I was sooooo happy. I have the best friends :)
