Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My magical moment was spent on the Fourth of July with my fiance, future mother-in-law and sister-in-law. What better way to impress them than your Lobster BLTs?! Our weren’t as pretty as yours, but they were delicious! I love being able to share special moments around the table with good food and great company. Heyo! First things first love. the. blog. (Also yes, I am the realest.)
Magic summer moment…well which one?! The one where I got to see Wicked? (those vocals though!) Or the one where I travelled all over Europe for a month? Or the one where I witnessed Bey and Jay kill it in Seattle? Let’s go with Europe for adventure’s sake. Picnicked (is that a verb?) at the Eiffel Tower, rode a gondola in Venice, climbed an active volcano in Santorini, survived two epic hikes in Norway, and had a drink at Whelan’s Pub in Dublin (where part of PS I Love You was filmed!). So yea it was a pretty magical summer.
My magic summer moment was getting the opportunity to buddy-up with a camper for Camp To Be Independent for young individuals with traumatic brain injuries. It was not an easy week, but I am so grateful to have learned so much about others and myself. My occupational therapy class will be sending 9 students to Mustard Seed Communities to offer our services and they are in need of a good blender to puree the food for the kids there. It would be phenomenal to make a magic fall moment to offer such a donation to their facility.
My favorite summer moment was to see my 7 month old enjoying in pool. This was priceless for me

The most magical moment of the summer happened when I received a random text one afternoon from my husband while I was at work. It simply said, “I think we should get bikes”. We’ve been out riding the trails every weekend since which has made the entire summer magical!
Also, I have purchased your book! Looks wonderful!
My favorite moment from this summer was our vacation to Breckenridge, CO. It was the first time we have been on a vacation just the 4 of us! We always travel with my parents and can’t afford multiple trips each year, so it was a big deal after 9 years of marriage!
My magic moment this summer came when I was able to teach my 12 yr old son a life lesson when he rec’d some disappointing news showing him that everything happens for a reason even if at this time we don’t know what that reason is. It was a matter of just a week or so and he was able to see God’s plan….another door was opened.
First, love your website….I think your bacon and brussel sprout pizza changed my life.
Second, my magic moment of the summer was sipping a Moscow Mule on the Middle Fork of the Salmon river, with 12 friends, 50 miles from the nearest cell service. Times seven days. Pure bliss.
Magic Moment: Every single day I get to spend with both my husband and our sweet, little girl. My hubby works a lot so I can stay home and raise our daughter and when he has days off, we soak up every minute together.

My magical moment this summer was standing in line at 7am with my father at the Dominique Ansel Bakery for a CRONUT the morning after I left my 16 year magazine publishing job to take the leap and start my own business and realizing I was free!
(Ok, the better moment was EATING the cronut….)

My favorite magical summer moment: biking around BEAUTIFUL Mackinac Island, MI with my love. The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful and we did jussssstt enough sweating to justify a large cocktail at the Grand Hotel afterwards.
My magical Summer moment was spending time on the lake at my in-laws house for a week with my three children. It’s hard NOT to feel magical when you see everyday as an adventure like they do!

My magic moment this summer was finding out that I am pregnant- with twins. After struggling with infertility, this has been a dream come true.
I’ve been using some of your recipes for a while now and recently started following the blog and love it! My magic moment this summer had to be on vacation with my family in Kauai as we sat on the porch of the house we had rented after making dinner together and spending the day at the beach. Right now my husband and I live about 3 states away from my family while he finishes his Phd and while it kills me to be away, I have come to appreciate our time together more than I could explain! It truly is the simplest moments with the people you love that make everything worth it! A beautiful ocean view and sounds of waterfalls and lots of laughter don’t hurt either!
My magical moment this summer was sort of a turning point for me. I have finally created a career in food that allows me to support my family. I followed my passion and did not look back.
