Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. Best summer moment….hiking in the Colorado Rockies with my hubby :)
My magic moment from this summer is all the long walks and trips to the park I got to enjoy with my sweet puppy, Louie!
When my dissertation research was featured in the Huffington Post!
My magic moment this summer were the sleep overs I was able to have with my nephews! Light saber fights, popcorn, and staying up all night watching Darkwing Duck.
I bought your cookbook the day it was available for presale. Jessica you’ve been my go to foodie inspiration as well as the one who started my flog blog obsession. Thank you
My magic moment was when my beautiful niece, Violet, was born! She is such a beautiful and sweet baby girl that has brought so much love and happiness to her parents’ lives and mine!
Magic summer moment=road tripping from Florida to northern Wisconsin.
Watching my 4 and 2 yr olds really become best friends :)
My moment definitely happened in June at this magical place called Camp Sunshine. It’s a place for kids who have a life-threatening illness or disease and their families to go and just take a moment to remember that they’re not alone in this fight, it allows the kids to just be kids for one week, even if they return to chemotherapy or blood transfusions the next week. I got to be a blessed volunteer during a week where many of the kids have/have had eye cancer or something similar so many of them are limited in sight. But that doesn’t hinder them, not one single bit. And I can’t wait to go back next year to contribute to bringing peace and love to everyone touched by this glorious place!
My magical moments have been watching my now 8 month old take in life – foods, the beach, etc. Everything is new to her, so seeing life through her eyes has been a lot of fun!!
Thanks for the giveaway and congrats on your book! My magic moment was a weekend getaway with my husband, spent outdoors away from work and technology. Oh to be back there again!
Our magic moment took place here in Montreal Canada when we decided not to go on summer vacation this year. We decided to relax, not be over-committed to activities or plans and spend time together (unplugged, REAL time together!!)
It was amazing to reconnect as a family after a hectic school year. Making memories with my 16 and 12 year old daughters was the best magic of the summer!
my magical moment was sending my sister of to college for the first time. Bittersweet
My magic moment was absolutely hanggliding at 2,000 feet and soaring through clouds. I felt so alive and free, and all the stress of prepping for college totally melted away. Perfection.
My magical moment this summer was hearing my son, who is just starting to talk, say I Love Mama. We’ve had a tough summer with losing my stepmom to cancer, and we have been relishing in the every day sort of things, a flower, a beautiful sunset, or even an I Love You from a 2 year old
I also preordered the book!
My magical summer moment took place in Block Island, Rhode Island. I have a lifetime of memories from this quaint little New England island. This summer I got to share this magical little place with my hubby for the first time. As we sat on our beach house patio sipping blackberry honey margaritas he said, “Do we ever have to leave?” He’s a keeper :)
My magic moment- finishing my first year of graduate school and getting to enjoy a summer vacation again!
Celebrating my 1 year wedding anniversary!
My magic moment was sitting on a rooftop porch with a perfect purple sunset with my family and friends!
My magic moment of the summer came when I was able to pick my first tomato from my garden. This was special because it was the first time I have ever grown anything edible!
My magical summer moment was taking a wine tour around the NY finger lakes with my husband and in laws! Congratulations on the book!
The best moment of my summer was being a bridesmaid at my best friend’s wedding. It was a beautiful day.
My magic moment is still to come! My first niece is due in merely a week, I can hardly stand it!!
My magic moment this summer was a trip to PEI (a small island in Atlantic Canada). I always thought the place was cheesy and touristy, but the whole weekend was exactly the opposite. One afternoon we found a quiet, nearly empty beach and had a picnic. It was perfect.
exploring the city with my sister :)
Magic moment was driving out to our new home with my sister and 3 dogs, over the course of several days and 3000 miles later, pulling into the driveway of our house with my husband waiting for us in the driveway-after 6 months of being apart! :) Best moment. :)
Traveling to Lake George, NY: hiking, diving & exploring inside caves, row boating, and enjoying the gorgeous summer.
My magic moment of the summer was going to Saint Simmons Island for Fourth of July weekend with all of my best friends. We watched an amazing fireworks display on the beach at Sea Island and then went to a concert on the beach afterwards. Such a beautiful place and so much fun. Sand, sun, and friends, what more could you want?
My magic summer moment is seeing my three boys becoming friends before my very eyes! (T is 4. Z&G will be 2 later this yr.) It just kills me. Happy preggo to you and congrats on the book — AND to your lucky winners!
My magic moment was the surprise 40th birthday my husband threw for me (which also happens to be the 4th of July) with my family and closest friends. It was at my parents’ mountain home, so it turned into a whole weekend with all of us together hanging out.
My magic moment was riding a scary roller coaster with my 7 year old and watching him exclaim let’s do it again! Awesome giveaway btw!
Celebrating my grandmother’s 90th birthday!
Magic Moment: visiting Hawaii for the first time – so so beautiful!
i finished grad school, passed my boards, and finally became a real adult. i never thought it would actually happen, so i kind of consider that magical.
Also, I preordered your book :)
Fourth of July weekend, my husband and I climbed a mountain – it was exhausting. At the end we maneuvered our giant dog up a ladder to enjoy the view and picnic. It was just one of those wonderful days of just the 2 of us (plus the dog) where we just enjoyed a great day together without any distractions or cell phones. Definitely looking out across the blue ridge mountains was pretty magical. And looking down, and thinking “heck yea, I just hiked 4 miles”. Plus, it was a 20k+ step day on the fitbit :)
My magic moment was throwing my sons 1st bday party and testing cakes and cookies for weeks before the party!
My magic moment was taking my jersey husband to Wisconsin for the first time and for us to celebrate my grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary there. It was like stripping life to the basics: nature, family & food. It was also magical to see my grandparents love still flourish and know love can last and that I found the man I want to be with that long.
What a fun giveaway! I love all the items you chose. My magic moment was being in my friend’s outdoor wedding on a beautiful farm, and the how the cows next door got quiet when the processional started playing!! I like to think they were being respectful but maybe they just liked the music.
My husband preordered the book for me – it’s coming out the day after my birthday! Hooray! Happy birthday to me!!
Cleveland sports weekend with friends. Browns pre season game followed by an Indians game the next day.
My magical moment of the summer was taking our 1 & 3-year-old boys to the splash pad this summer and just watching the extreme joy and excitement it brought them. It was so much fun watching them explore and just have an absolute blast :)
I love you so much for let us worldwide fans enter! And you know for pretty much everything else you do x
The perfect afternoon that I spent on the boat with family. Very simple but those are the days I live for!
Our family vacation was our highlight of the summer! Thanks for the chance to win, the prizes are awesome!
My magic moment of the the summer was going to Europe with my husband to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We went to Paris (my fav city ever!), Malta (where his family is from), Barcelona (great architecture), and Athens (oh the history). We can’t wait to go back.
But we damn Brits have to wait an extra month for your book, humph! Can’t wait for my preorder to arrive!
My magical summer moment was hanging out with friends at the lake and laughing till our stomachs’ ached. Last year I would have said no when they invited me because of my social anxiety so it was magic to realize that I didn’t even think about being anxious once.
