Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My magic moment was a little nephew being born a few weeks ago! Haven’t met him yet – he lives in Australia and I live in Canada – but enjoyed a lovely Skype call and many pics!
Magic moment–Eleventh year anniversary with Rockfish on a bed of roasted yello pepper cheddar grits and a poblano vinaigrette. Hubby cooked!!!!! Amazing.
I pre-ordered a copy of Seriously Delish on Amazon. Can’t wait to get it!!!
My most magical moment was spending 5 days in the car driving across the country from California to Pennsylvania with my 11year old. We moved back here to PA to help my husbands family while they battle health issues. To see the joy and happiness on my in-laws faces to have all 7, (yes SEVEN!!) grandkids home together has lifted their spirits in these trying times. We don’t know how long we will have them around, but the children will always have the memories of being with their Gaga & Pappy & building ever lasting cousin friendships for the rest of their lives.
To me, that is more magical than any Disney Magic Moment anyone can ever have! Life is precious and short, make the most out of yours and don’t be scared to try new things!!
Magical summer moment = waking up on my friend’s farmette with the windows open, a cool breeze blowing in, the rooster cockadoodle-dooing and the goats baaahhhing and the birds singing, cuddled up next to my favorite person.
This weekend my husband and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary, and no, there were no fireworks, no fancy dinner, no cute little black dresses… it unfortunately was kind of a crappy day… Our water pump and we had no running… so our entire day was spent fixing that. Four trips to the local hardware store later…I realized that we’re the kind of couple that doesn’t need a spectacular date night to realize how lucky were are to find each other. Getting our water back and enjoying the victory with a beer on our front porch was the best anniversary present he could have given me… plus knowing that no matter what situation we’re in…we’re in it together with a smile! GREAT BIG BONUS.
I’d have to say that my magic moment this summer was the day I found out we were going to be having our first bambino! It was on Monday, July 7th, + only 2 days later, we all found out you were working on your own first bambino! Yeehaw!
Magic moment…. not sure I’ve had it yet. I will say the weather has been fantastically magical though!!
My best moment this summer was when my husband and I went rock climbing for the first time ever. It was really challenging, and I’m still working on my unease with heights, so when I reached the top of the face we were climbing on for the first time it felt amazing, plus the view was awesome!
I already pre ordered a copy from Amazon a few weeks ago. Can’t wait to get it signed in Pitt!!
Hello! My magic summer moment was hiking in beautiful Northwestern Ontario with my dachshunds and looking out onto the Winnipeg River off Lake of the Woods (google it – so beautiful). Also when I made your mint simple syrup iced coffee for Father’s Day brunch and everyone thought I was a genius (yes!).
Also just went and pre-ordered your book! I can’t believe how quickly the release date has come. CONGRATS!
My magic moment for the summer will happen on Thursday, when my little boy turns 1!
Best moment this summer was feeling baby #4 move for the first time. Still as amazing as baby #1 was !
magic moment was an early morning bike ride on the beach in Hilton Head – pure bliss!
I pre-ordered the book a while back, + can’t wait until it arrives on my doorstep! Hopefully, we’ll be coming to say hey in person (eek!) on September 13th in Cincy! Just look for the lady from Kentucky who’s in that “maybe she’s pregnant, or… maybe she’s just let herself go” phase – it’s the former. ;)
Going to see Michael Buble in Milwaukee! Fantastic!
My magic moment this summer was having my first baby. She is the most amazing thing ever. I’m so excited for you to have your baby. It will change your life for the better. Babies rock!
Hands down best summer moment – hubs and I buying our very first house, in our dream neighborhood! Woot woot :) COMPLETELY unexpected find but the best. feeling. ever.
Magic moment? I live in Israel, and there has not been much magic under fire, but maybe these were the moments, sitting with my kids in the bomb shelter and perfecting in table games, solely family reunion moments.
I also pre-ordered “Seriously Delish” months ago…actually ON the day you announced it could be ordered!!!
It’s my birthday gift to myself!!! (Also, if you pick my comment to when your contest…this is the correct contact email!!!)
My summer magical moment was enjoying all of our son’s “firsts”. After a very long journey to have a baby, he was born on March 23rd. This summer has been filled with rolling over, babbling, growth spurts, sleep schedules, teething, and so many more enjoyable memories. While I have put my cooking, shopping, makeup buying on a back burner, it is so worth the time I have been able to spend with our little guy. I would love to win this giveaway and have a little pampering time. Good luck on your new chapter with having a baby, it is truly the hardest but most rewarding job (I was a RNFA in surgery before becoming a full-time mom). I know everyone will tell you this, but the time goes by so fast. It really does and I am just trying to be present and enjoy each moment.
My magic moment this summer was when I took an entire week off of work and rented a cabin up north with my family. It was an amazing week of family, food, and relaxation :)
My highlight this summer, was seeing the big renovation on our house come together. So fun!
Magic moment–picking 30 pounds of delicious peaches and then eating them over the following two weeks.
my magic moment this summer is when me and my husband found our dream house
I think the best thing about this summer was the relaxing down time with the family. The school year can be so exhausting that I still look forward to summer even though I don’t get off work!
My magic moment this summer was when my grandson wanted my chocolate chips for his birthday in October.
My best summer moment(s) was spent in Ireland with my boyfriend and his family. It was beautiful, the people kind…I understand now why it is a favorite place for so many. I am going to order your book today:-) Love your posts!
Well, I am entering from Australia. You can post a vitamix here right?! Haha! (I literally have an old jam jar at the top of my pantry labelled ‘Vitamix savings’. It has one IOU $50 from my husband who needed cash for poker night. Sigh.)
We are in the depths of winter here, summer is a hope in the air. I can tell you my most magical moment of this winter though? It was when I learnt to be okay with the season. Instead of waiting for summer, waiting for a better job, a better body, a better home, my husband to pay me back the IOU (ha!) I literally learnt to be ok with just sitting with where things are at right now.
I was at home with my son, watching him play, completely content and oblivious. He knew he was safe, he knew he was warm and he knew he was loved. Therefore he was happy. I realised, that’s all we need too! I am now practising gratitude for all things great and small and feeling content and at peace with winter. With where things are at- or are not at.
Who knows what magic my summer will bring….!
Our magical moment was enjoying a glass of wine with our best friends overlooking an open field waiting for the 4th of July fireworks to begin and suddenly being surprised and delighted by a plethora of fireflies! Best 4th of July fireworks ever!
Love your blog and cant wait to order your book!
My magic moment of the summer was running my first half marathon! I have lost 70lb in the last year and a half and gave myself that goal and I DID IT!
I pre-ordered a copy of “Seriously Delish” from Amazon. I am excited to receive the book.
My “magic moment” was when we took my toddler to the beach. She had never seen the ocean before and she went RUNNING toward it, giggling and squealing the whole time. It was perfection :)
Great giveaway! I just moved to Minnesota from Florida, and it was magical having a summer where I actually wanted to go outside because it wasn’t miserably hot.
My “magic” moment was really more like a magic 10 days with my husband in Cape May relaxing, eating ice cream every single night and lounging on the beach every single day!
Oh my gosh, what a giveaway! My magic moment this summer was our baby shower. The outpouring of generosity we received was just unreal!!!
Also, I pre-ordered your book from Amazon weeks ago! Sooooooo excited for it to get here!
My magic moment this summer was the precious few days I had to spend with my favorite Sister doing nothing but chatting and relaxing while the sounds of the ocean kept us company!
getting my first hole in one golfing last Sunday!
My magic moment will be realized if I manage to win one of these items out of 2900+ entries!! Haha. But really, I love everything about summer and consider it one big magic moment every year.
I sold my house! I’ve been trying to sell my house “up north” for over a year, but it became critical when we recently discovered my father has a terminal illness and I need to be in another part of the country. And then magically it sold …. amen!
My magic moment happened a few weeks ago. I’m from Scotland, my husband is from PA and we have a 8month old – we took him back to the UK to meet my family & visted the town where we met. We went back to where we got engaged & on the exact spot, my husband got down on one knee & held up our son!
Magic moment: introducing my British in-laws to my American family 3 days before getting married in beautiful Western Maine!
My magic moment(s) was seeing my kids learn to do new things this summer–read, swim, write stories. It’s so fun!
My magic moment was spending time with my husband on our first vacation together in nearly three years in Portland, Oregon! We hiked, we ate, we shopped, we ate, we rode bikes, we ate. It was perfection!
I don’t know if I’ve really had a magic moment this summer. It’s been kind of a bummer summer since I’ve had to work pretty much all the time, and haven’t been able to do much of anything! I did start a new collection..and started collecting Funko Pop! vinyl toys. They make me happy.
And, of course I’m preordering your book! Wouldn’t miss it!
Magic moment was cottaging with friends – perfect weather, perfect company, perfect day!
My magic moment was just two days ago, when I found out I am pregnant with my second child. It’s a miracle and gift from heaven because it took me seven years to get pregnant the first time. After trying a naturopath, acupuncture, and 12 rounds of oral fertility meds, the hormone injections finally did the trick. Our daughter is 18 months old now. We were getting ready to make an appointment with the fertility specialist again, in hopes of getting pregnant again by November or December. After feeling horribly premenstrual for over a month now, I finally did a pregnancy test, and it was positive! What a wonderful blessing and surprise :)
I pre-ordered!
