Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My magic moment came on my bike. When I finished a great ride i wasn’t sure I could do. It made me feel strong and healthy.
This summer’s magic moment was actually an entire week. I took my kids to Michigan for a vacation and the forecast showed rain every day of that week but one. I figured we’d still have fun but would have to get creative in what we did. We must have had an angel looking out for us because the week ended up being BEAUTIFUL! We spent the week on the beach and my boys were happy as clams! Seeing their smiling faces is always magic. :)
My magical moment was playing in the ocean while on vacation in Puerto Rico with our family. Lots of fun even though one piece of our luggage was lost on the return home and still has not been located.
The magic of getting away with my family, including 3 “grown” children, for a week in our favorite place cannot be topped. But more recently, leaving our daughter at college a few days ago was a different kind of magic that blends many emotions and challenges us all to do our best. Thanks!
My magic summer moment was taking in the sunrise when we were on vacation in Virginia Beach. Waking up at 4:45 AM to be there before the sun came up was most definitely worth every second of that sunrise while walking the beach!!
My magic moment from this summer is the wonder and excitement on the face of my nineteen month old granddaughter when the carrousel started moving while visiting the zoo. It reminded me to enjoy the little things in life!
My magic moment was spending a week in Yosemite with my son and a good friend. Absolutely beautiful.
My “magic moment” was seeing my DDs meet their great-grandmother. It was something DH had really wanted to have happen before it was too late…his grandmother is about 96 years old and lives in Greece, and even he hadn’t seen her in 20 years.
My sweet little baby boy rebel turned 1, and covered himself in chocolate birthday cake. Best day everrrr!!!
My best moment this summer was seeing Jesse McCartney in concert with my sister! I’ve loved him for almost 10 years now and finally heard him sing live and got to see him sing Beautiful Soul in person! It was amazing. Thanks for the giveaway!

Magical moment-hmm…after recovering from ACL surgery my husband was able to return to full parenting duties of our three young boys. It was magical!
My magical moment was camping at Joshua Tree park. There were these huge rocks that looked like giants had built forts from, the crazy Doctor Seuss trees, and a billion stars at night. One of those feats of nature that makes you realize your tiny place in the world.
The best moment was the 4th of July. Fireworks on the beaches of Lake Michigan, BBQ, family…such a relaxing and fun weekend!
And I pre-ordered your book about a month ago :)
This is a tough one because I feel like I had so many magical moments this summer! I think my favorite though was being at the beach with my family and watching my husband play in the sand and water with my niece and nephew. We are expecting our first child in November, and it was just one of those perfect little glimpses into the future where I was just like “whoa-he is going to be an AWESOME dad.” I think I fell 100 times more deeply in love with him then :)
I will never forget the look on my brother’s face when his fiancee reached the end of the aisle. I’m so happy that he found someone to love SO MUCH. [On a less magical note, I’ll also never forget the restricted breathing caused by my corset bridesmaids dress. A good reminder not to make EVERY recipe I come across here.]
Spending a whole week in FL with my husband!
A magical moment this summer was when our 2nd daughter’s adoption was finalized! She has been such a little blessing to our family and we were excited to celebrate this special day. We went to a tiny Colorado town close to our home in Denver for the closed court hearing. We celebrated with cupcakes and balloons. Then we walked around the little town on a beautiful, warm summer day and my mom bought each of our girls a present to help remember the day! Definitely a day I will never forget!
Magical moment was being there for the birth of my niece. She’s perfect in every way and I get to love on her all the time!!
My magic moment from this summer was when my new grandson truly recognized me and smiled his great big smile at me and cooed! I’ll never forget that and it melted my heart!!!! Thanks for all the great recipes and beautiful photos of them!
What a fun giveaway! I would have to say that the most magical moment of this summer was my surprise trip to Savannah for the 4th of July after our plans fell through because of a hurricane in NC. My hubs really outdid himself and it was ahhhhmazing.
My magic moment was a family reunion – seeing people I hadn’t seen in over 10 years :) a wonderful weekend
Meeting my best friend’s new baby! Beyond precious, he’s my favourite little man!
I would have to say my moment was Mexico…We decided to go on a whim this summer with friends and it was the best trip! Just taking in the beach and each other. So good.
What a brilliant comment prompt – I just got lost in time for a few minutes reading everyone’s magic moments and thinking of my own from years past. I think this summer’s magic moment, though, was spent with my first ever s’mores blizzard. Magically and momentously graham crackery.
My magical moment was having friends spontaneously stop by to cook for me and my husband & eating sheltered in our gazebo while a storm rolled in over the mountains.
And on that seriously loving food note, I naturally pre-ordered :)
I preordered the book-can’t wait to get my hands on it! Congrats!
My sister and her family came to visit for 10 wonderful days!
We took our first family vacation where both kids were old enough to truly enjoy it. The joy and excitement on their little faces was magical!
My magical moment was celebrating my first wedding anniversary with my awesome husband in Lake Placid, so beautiful!!
My favorite moment from this summer was karaoke night on my birthday with my two best friends and my sister. So much laughter and love.
Spending 4th of July in DC with my little nieces and nephew. So fun watching the fireworks over the nation’s capitol!

Magical moment this summer…..telling our families that we were expecting! Baby is due February 2015!
I think that’s a lifetime moment :)
I always think my morning jog in the park is a little bit magical. It’s been so cool here, it’s been perfect jogging weather too.
Just pre-ordered my copy of your book, can’t wait!!
So many best days! I’m a kindergarten teacher, so staying home with my own kids in the summer is awesome! Pool days, lazy days, they’re all great!
All the time we’ve gotten to spend with our families- with my family over July 4th which meant playing with my 3 nephews, lots of good food and playing on the farm (in PA) with goats and a llama. Then spending time with my husbands entire extended family for his grandpas 90th birthday weekend celebration where we got to play with our nieces.
Just pre-ordered your book!!
