Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!
The giveaway will run until this Friday, August 29. The winner will be announced on this post and contacted by email. THANK YOU!

My most “magical summer moment” was having my Oncologist quietly & emphatically tell me that ” I HAD cancer…” As in past tense …what an incredible blessing to look fwd to many other things in this life and preparing super healthy food and being strong & fit to keep the terrible “C” word at bay….Am looking fwd to also to enjoying a fabulous sweet from time to time & preparing them for my loved ones :-)
My magic moment this summer was during our annual vacation to my family’s cottage in Canada. Sitting on the dock with my husband and our dogs, watching the sunset and enjoying the simple life!
My magic moment was seeing my husband at the Munich airport terminal after not seeing him for weeks. He was in Germany for work and I was fortunate enough to make a trip over to see him for 12 days. Seeing his smile after weeks apart in a new country was one of the best feelings in the world.
Finding out we are moving back to the US. After 5 years in china, I’m ready to go home!
My magic moment….hummmmm. Well this summer was one magical moment. In late sprig I welcomed my third baby boy. So this summer was all about moments with my babies…all bonding, and growing together. Time at the beach was my favorite. I could wear my baby boy in my favorite wrap and still chase his crazy big brothers amongst the waves. It’s all of our happy places. Our car and stroller is officially a sand pit:) I’m blessed enough to stay at home with my babes but it’s a sacrifice. So big vacations aren’t in the cards for us. But who needs them …when lovin babies is all you need:)
Although bittersweet, my favourite part of the summer was moving back to Canada from Australia and spending lots of quality time with family and friends…on the beach. :)
My magical moment this summer was losing my breakfast at the train station one morning. No, really it was! I had been feeling sick but still tried to head to work. I stepped up to the door of the train, and promptly turned around and lost it in the nearest garbage can. I called in sick to work, then called my husband who suggested I go home and rest but also that I take a pregnancy test, as we had been trying for awhile and there was no other reason for me to be sick. As soon as he got home, I took the test and…clear as day, there were two lines! Finding out I am going to be a mother was an incredibly scary, emotional, and yes MAGICAL moment!
My hear was full last night when my iPhone was too full of summer pictures to take anymore, as I looked back over the summer memories we created, I

At the beach right now with my hubby!!

Living in Australia means my summer was a while ago now, but I clearly remember New Years Day – I went to the beach with friends, and we spent the afternoon sand boarding, driving the dunes, chatting, swimming, baby cuddling, and laughing ’til it hurt.
This winter’s been surprisingly mild, we’ve had plenty of sunshine anyway, so I’ve been out and about, making the most of it.
Looking forward to seeing your book soon, it looks lovely.
Magic to discover how great fresh picked cherries go with chocolate! Wen a friend brought over a huge box of cherries, I searched for dessert recipes using cherries. I stopped the search after finding 20 that really sang to me. Yummy!
This is easy. After looking for sixth months, my husband and I closed on our first house on June 6th. This is a big deal to me, because when I was little my father was in the military so I grew up living in military housing. We moved around so much, I never really had a “home.” Now, I’m overly excited about being able to paint walls and make the house our home (you’re not allowed to paint in military houses). Truly a blessing!
My magical moment….well, it’s actually a string of them. This will “probably” be the last summer to have had all of my babies (ranging in age from 22 to 8) home with me. It was crazy, busy, sometimes impossibly frustrating, sometimes incredibly fun, but always filled with love. How time does fly!
Taking my baby to the beach for the first time ;)
When my daughter told me she loves that I’m her mom. Magic beyond compare.
I preordered my copy from Amazon & I can’t wait to get it!

My magical moment this summer was going on my first vacation in almost 5 years to the florida keys for mini lobster season! It was a much needed break from responsibilities since I work two jobs and I’m a full time college student. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had going lobstering (catching 26 delicious little creatures!), taking on the “Duval crawl” (twice), and going snorkeling for the first time. I usually don’t participate in giveaways but I absolutely adore you’re taste and well, your blog in general. You’re one of the few blogs I’ve kept reading every day since I’ve had to quit my food blog and take a step back from the blogosphere.
My favorite part of summer was seeing Bastille at Stage AE. They were great!

Heading on vacation this week – so the magic is yet to come!
I love this idea! My “magical moment” this summer was returning home to Michigan for vacation with my family at our lake house. Sitting on the dock, watching the sunset, and digging into the obscene amount of jams and salsas we bought at American Spoon. It was delicious and beautiful!
