Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!

My magical moment is getting the positive result that I’m preggy, after almost 2 years of marriage with my hubby and all that effort of hard work!
After following your blog and blogs similar to you I’m becoming more and more inspired to further my cooking and baking abilities. I am specifically working in baking – e.g. making cakes, cookies, pies, etc. For me, some of the best moments come through seeing other people enjoy your creations.
Well, my magical moment this summer was when I was asked to make a Disney ‘Frozen’ themes cake for my boyfriend’s niece. I spent hour cooking and decorating it, making it personalized for her. It looked fantastic when it was done, but that wasn’t what made it magical. That was when she walked into the room to see it for the first time and I saw her eyes flash with excitement and a huge smile appear across her face. That was truly magical for me.
My magic moment was getting an offer for a new job that I am excited to start right after labor day and it will advance my career a bit and will be an excellent opportunity that will use my skills and abilities more. This is especially meaningful to me after being miserable at my current job and feeling as if I am a glorified assistant (there is nothing wrong with this position, just not what I have done my entire career) who has taken a huge step back in their role, and who has to take xanax just to go to a meeting with their boss, because their boss is completely nuts and nasty. I also found met a new friend and found a new running buddy this summer, as I am training for a marathon and need the company on long runs. This lady just moved to my city and was looking to make new friends too.
My magic moment this summer was helping my brother set up a surprise proposal for his girlfriend. He wanted to decorate one of the gazebos that overlooked the lake with flowers and candles and he wanted the proposal to be at sunset. So, while he was stalling her, my mom and I went to work to set everything up (there were an excessive amount of candles but it was so beautiful!) There were a few close calls but thankfully she never saw us and she was totally surprised. Both our families joined them soon after and there wasn’t a dry eye among us!
Such a great list! My magical moments this summer were all the backyard BBQs with plenty of lush food, wines, and good friends!
What a GREAT giveaway!!! Thank you! :)
My moment was the first time sailing for the summer with my 10 year niece and my parents. I LOVE sailing with my niece and how much she loves it too :)

My most magical moment was when I was able to perform at an Open-Mic Club for he first time! It was so much fun, and the band behind me was awesome!
Well, I am also pregnant this summer, so I would say that’s a magic moment. Except for the first 3-4 months when I was sick all the time. Hopefully I’m past that and it’s all good from here on out!
My magical moment was when my seven month old son started to crawl , wave, and mimick sounds all in the span of a week. It also made me sad because he grows up more each day.
Favorite moment of the summer…there are too many to count. But I think attending my cousin’s wedding in Grand Lake, CO was a major highlight. So beautiful and such a happy time being with family for a celebration.
My magic moment this summer was returning to the US for the first time in two years (I teach abroad). I was reunited with my sister and we took a road trip visiting visiting various family members. We also drove aimlessly, stopped at every farmer’s market along the way, sang at the top of our lungs and generally acted like a bunch of goof balls!
My magic summer moment was sitting outside with my husband and our dog in the backyard of our first home we bought earlier this year. We’ve put a lot of work into so far, so just taking a moment to relax and enjoy being together and our new space was pretty magical minus the mosquitoes : )
I preordered the book through amazon as soon as it was posted. Can’t wait to dive in!
My magical summer moment was a whole week long. I was privileged to go to Honduras on a mission trip, and it was the most exhilarating, exhausting, HOT/HUMID, fantastical, blessing ever!
My magic summer moment was taking my boyfriend to my favorite city, Boston, for the first time. I got to show him all of my favorite places, went to a ballgame and tried macarons for the first time which were magical. It’s always special getting to share something you love with someone you love.
My magical moment this summer was having my husband home with me and our 2 boys. Spending dinners talking and laughing…just being together.
Thank you!
The best moment(s) of my summer was a three day hike through Myanmar back in June. Absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful.

My most magical summer moment was snorkeling at dawn in Maui. My last swim was with a giant sea turtle and an eagle ray that was absolutely breathtaking, just cruising along. Of course, the post-snorkeling mango mimosas were pretty great, too…
the memory of this summer was one hour out of a fantastic beach vacation with my family and their families. it was the night before our week was up and a bunch of us were still on the beach in the early evening after most of the people had left for the day, sitting in beach chairs with my mother and sisters chatting, drinking wine out of plastic cups, watching my husband surf fish, the kids play in the waves, my brother fly a kite – with our feet in the warm sand and the still-warm sun disappearing behind the dunes behind us. a perfect hour.
I moved back in with my parents this summer…for the ups and downs the highlight of my summer is the amazing vegetable garden that they allowed me plant!
My magic summer moment was eating steamed clams outside with the smell of salt water in the air. Yum!
My magical moment was being at the lake with 12 of my closest friends and trying to make a peach cobbler for the first time– the contents completely overflowed, smoke was everywhere, but everyone dug in and devoured it and left cleaning the oven for the next morning :)
My magical moment was a trip to Eastern Europe with my husband!
My magic moment of the summer was actually a magic week. My 13 month old started to walk (and then run….instantly) and a few days later we found out we were expecting Baby #2!

My magic moment this summer was swimming in the Pacific Ocean for the first time. Scary and refreshing!
My magical moment will be in one week from today when I’m sitting at a cafe in Paris enjoying un pain au chocolat.
My magic moment would be watching my son grow up before my eyes and all of the things he has accomplished in such a few short months. He is only eight months old but he has learned so much.
My magic moment this summer was spending the day visiting my family and getting lots of time with my nieces and nephews I don’t see very often!
Many amazing moments this summer. Trying new restaurants, travelling to new places, but the best moment so far was definitely my fiance graduating from the fire academy. It was amazing and we felt secure and thrilled to be starting our new journey and life together!
My magical moment was going to Puerto Vallarta with a group of girlfriends this summer. It was a BLAST!
Hi!! I absolutely love your blog. My friends and I have literally made dozens of your recipes. Thank you for doing such a great job keeping up the blog and sharing such great ideas. My magic moment this summer was the birth of my first child, Ryan!! He was born July 20th. I was SO excited to hear the news that you are expecting as well! Love hearing all your pregnancy thoughts – so many similarities! Congratulations and hope you are having the best summer.
There were so many magical moments this summer. If I had to pick just one, I would say announcing my pregnancy at my graduation party. I wore a shirt that said “Keep Calm and Carry Baby”, framed a picture of my sonogram & put it on the table with my diploma, and let people figure it out on their own timing. It was like having 50 mini celebrations that day!

My magic moment was when my boyfriend and I celebrated my birthday. We went shopping at antique stores, browsed through as many other stores as we could, ate a delicious dinner, drank Starbucks, and just enjoyed each other. It was such a simple day but it was pure bliss.
My magic moment this summer?? Though there were many, I think your favorite would be the fact that I mastered making brown butter and now am finding every way possible to incorporate it into as many recipes as possible!
My favorite memory this summer is from Lake Charlevoix in Upper Michigan. We have been going there since we were kids and I finally go to go back this summer.
