Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My magic moment from the summer was my birthday week. Yup, a whole week of dinners at my favorite restaurants, getting to sorta dress up (I don’t do it very often), incredibly sweet treats from my hubs, and getting to relax. Though learning how to operate the grill by myself is a close second, since I can use that trick forever.
i bought your book as a 30th bday present to myself! September 2nd is a great day :)
The magic moment of the summer was when my niece asked the owner of the Zebra Striped Whale coffee shop (very seriously) why she could not meet the Zebra Striped Whale. She was quite upset, but satisfied with a pretzel covered in sprinkles as a consolation prize.

Love this! So fun! My favorite magic moment of this summer was venturing out of the city to go on a hiking adventure and explore a new town with my boyfriend. We always talk about what an amazing day trip that was, and we found the BEST chocolate chip banana muffin I think I’ve ever had, in my life, ever. So great!

Great Giveaway! Magic Moment: doing dirty demo work on moldy walls and carpet in my basement for a new basement REMODEL! :)
I pre-ordered months ago!
My magic moment was at an Eric Church concert in June. I lost my precious Mema in May, 5 days after my birthday and he played “She Loves Me Like Jesus Does”. I was in a stadium of 80,000 people and my sister and I sat down and held each other’s hands and cried like babies. About halfway through the song, the wind blew out of nowhere and we knew it was Mema telling us she is ok and it literally gave me chills (in the middle of June in FL….not easy). We miss her every single day and I know my life will never be the same without her in it. Also, i’m sorry for messing with your preggo hormones wih a “sad” story. Email is christastan@gmail.com
My magic moment was going to Disneyland with my husband and his niece and nephew. I know…magic moment in Disneyland is totally cliche but being there with kids for the first time was pretty amazing.
And I preordered the cookbook like 2 months ago and have been not so patiently waiting for it ever since :)
My magic moment of the summer was very simple but so priceless- visiting my family in central PA and enjoying quiet evenings on their beautiful patio. They have created a really special garden patio and you can’t beat a porch swing, summery cocktail, and good company :)
A magic moment? That’s a good one! I think my magic moment was either watching my two best friends tie the knot next to a dreamy pond in Ohio, or watching my partner cross the finish line at his triathlon.
Flying home to Florida to visit my best friend and deciding that despite my health issues, and having to turn down my med school acceptance, we both decided on going to pharmacy school together. Less school and less stress. I know it’s not the typical ‘magical moment,’ but finding something I can be passionate about again, is in a way magical (to me at least), because I didn’t think I could find something I could love as much as medicine.
My magic moment(s) this summer was sitting on our screen porch, sipping a cocktail, and enjoying this amazing summer we have been having.
My magical moment was when I went to visit my BFF Ally in Nashville and we made a million of your recipes!!
Seriously Delish was my only birthday present request this year!! I planned a weekend visit with friends in Cincinnati so I can attend your book signing on September 13. You should pit stop in Columbus on your way to Cleveland ;)
Seeing my son’s face when he saw an NFL football field for the first time.
And I pre-ordered your book! I can’t wait to have it in my kitchen and try every recipe! :)
Also, I per-ordered Seriously Delish last month and plan on seeing you in Philly!
I had a pretty rough summer, but there are always magic moments. When I was at my lowest, I had a call from all five of my immediate family members and several emails from close friends. It’s always nice to be reminded that you are loved, so that’s my magic moment!
I think my magic moment is still on the horizon. We leave for a 2 week trip to Italy in just a few weeks!
