Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! My summer magic moment was visiting my best friend (since we were 8 years old!) in Florida!!! We ate the BEST food (especially doughnuts and ice cream) from local restaurants until we wanted to barf. It was magical :p I am also the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan and we went to Universal to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This was my first SOLO trip to visit a friend. It was simply amazing.
I have two magical moments! 1. My fiancé returning a couple weeks ago after a 3.5 month work trip and 2. My bachelorette party in Chicago (currently sitting at the airport waiting to go home! Both were filled with love and I am so happy to have all of them in my life! Also, I preordered a copy from amazon late July/early August! Can’t wait to see it :)
My magic moment of the summer was getting the job of my dreams. I am able to give back and spread the knowledge of health and wellness to others. I definitely want to preorder your book! It sounds amazing!
My summer included teaching summer school. As a teacher I have always reserved my summers to be kid-free. But monetary wise I thought it best to teach. I had the best group of kiddos and everyday was fun with them! So glad I gave it a try.
My husband and I also bought our first house together. It’s funny- I was moving as you were moving and having the same gripes living out of boxes! So happy we moved and we have soooooo much more space to fill!
My husband and I also took a week long vacation to Punta Cana. ooooh sooooo relaxing. The best week of summer for sure!
My magic summer moment was renting a pontoon boat and taking it out on Lake Champlain with my boyfriend, sister, cousins, and friends. We spent the day fishing, swimming, and eating some great cheese!
hmmmm, I’m pretty sure it was hiking in the Banff National Park in Alberta. Standing 1500m up a cliff looking out over rivers and pine trees and deer….is there anything more magical?!
My favorites moments were with my kids. We did a good job seizing the day this summer. On a different note, my magic cooking moment was when I finally made an excellent coconut cream pie!
Magical moment – homemade s’mores milkshakes on the deck with my family telling silly stories at dusk.
I actually just got back from vacation today. Last night we went to a beach my nana used to take me to all the time when I was little, but I have been there in like 15 years probably. It was kind of magical because I used to love going there when I was little and I got to spend a nice night watching the sunset with my friends, and then we had a super delish dinner. (Also, there were like a million dogs and they were all adorable.)
What a great giveaway! My summer magic moment was doing the Cliff Walk in Newport.
My magic moment was spending my birthday on a beach in Maui with my boyfriend!
Ahh! You’re the absolute best!!
My magical moment was taking a week-long staycation with my husband. It was so nice to take a break from life and enjoy each other!
My magic moment of the summer has been spending lots of time with my husband now that we have both moved on to jobs with better balance–this was the first summer since we both made the switch!
My magic moment was returning to New York!
Mine was finding out I’m pregnant!
Pre-ordered your book. Congrats!
My magic moment from this summer was seeing my 15 month old son finally walk! He started this on our vacation to Breckenridge and it was so sweet to share those first steps with his grandpa!
My favorite summer memory was during a 3 week, well-planned road trip. We stopped for gas in Corning, NY and i saw a sign for Corning Glass Museum. We were ahead of schedule on our trip so I searched Yelp & TripAdvisor and it had great reviews. It was some of the best hours on our entire trip. So much fun and a great way to show my kids how to be spontaneous.
My magic moment was definitely Memorial Day weekend when we found out that I was pregnant! What a way to start the summer. I very similarly to you, spent the first 12 weeks on the couch feeling like I could barf at any moment but since that has passed it’s been excitement all around! I am just a couple weeks behind you so I have loved reading all your updates! It is refreshing to know I am not the only one in the boat sometimes!!
Magic moment was a perfect day hike in Sedona;)
My magical moment of the summer was seeing a giant orange moon rise over Lake Michigan up in Door County Wisconsin. Beautiful!
I travel a lot of the summer for work, so mine is definitely coming back in and being picked up at the airport by my boyfriend after a month away. We’d left the night before at 12:30am and arrived home at 4:30pm. He snuck up behind me when I was waiting for my luggage and wrapped me in the biggest bear hug ever. I was so surprised I squeeked (totally embarrassing). Love that guy and so glad to be home to spend the rest of the summer with him.
My summer magic moment was having a girls weekend with my mom and sisters in California!
I pre-ordered your book on Amazon this past week:) Seriously can NOT wait for it to arrive!!!!!
My magic moment from this summer was the few short days I got to spend at our lake house. I started a new job and wasn’t able to go back home very much, but I got to spend tkme at the lake with friends and family, and it was truly amazing.
My favorite memory was going to a family’s lake house for the Fourth of July!
Also, just preordered the book!
My magical moment this summer was sipping piña coladas at a lechoneria on a mountain in Puerto Rico, soaking in the live music and dancing! The joy and happiness of everyone around was palpable in the air.
My magic moment was spending the weekend with friends in Niagara Falls and managing to laugh pretty much the entire time!
My summer magical moment was when my 22 month old niece called to tell me ” I yuv yoo auntie”. I almost died!
My magic moment of the summer was skipping rocks and watching the sun set over bear Lake a place super close to my heart for do many reasons!
It was a very uneventful summer for me. Winning these goodies would definitely be the highlight of my summer.
My magical summer moment was having a beach bonfire with my friends, and watching the sunset. It was so beautiful and perfect and I felt so lucky for everything in my life!
The day we were sitting on the porch drinking a cocktail with homemade bitters and just enjoying a nice relaxing summer evening.
This was a tough summer for my family. My mother passed away in June, so it’s been a rough few months as we adjust to this new direction. But just a few weeks ago we were given the best gift ever: my brother’s girlfriend gave birth to a baby boy. So holding him for the first time was my magic moment for the summer.
This summer my boyfriend and I got an adorable puppy named Milo. A week later, soon after they had bonded, the BF left for 2 weeks in Italy without us (I know…major sad face). Picking him up from the airport and seeing how excited they were was the cutest thing. I’m not sure who was more excited, but Milo may have peed a little, so maybe he gets the win on this one. A 30 min car ride and 20 min at home later, Milo still would not stop loving and kissing all over his daddy. Those two warm my heart.
P.S. If I am randomly picked, please pick someone else to receive The Flavor Bible! We already have one :)
My magic moment was getting married!
Summer moment… how about last night! I organized my sister’s bachelorette with my fellow bridesmaids and despite all the worry, it was wonderful, as it should be. Also, I I lost my favourite Smitten balm stain but then found it before we left! Yay.
I have spent most of my summer studying for the CPA so I haven’t had much time to do much else. But that means I just appreciated the fun things I got to do even more! My magical moment of the summer was my vacation to a cabin in Hayward, WI- my last day there was full of fishing, tubing, sitting on the dock getting some great pictures of the most beautiful scenery, and to top off the night was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen! Every shade of pink, orange, yellow, red, purple, and blue- all of it reflecting off the crystal clear water. Just magical :)
My summer was the best summer ever. I gave birth to our beautiful son Cohen!
My summer magic moment was when I did a volunteering trip in Romania last May! Providing eye exams and glasses for people who desperatly needed it and didn’t have any access to eyecare professionels was so magical and rewarding! I also enjoyed the 3 weeks eurotrip that followed with my friends ;)

Being at the beach with my family and friends. All of the sunsets were magical!

I finally got some flowers to thrive in my little container garden this summer. That was a magic moment for me.
My favorite for the summer?
I had my kids around more…. I am a working mom and have always had them in daycare. Our provider quit in May and we live in a small town without very many options. The best thing we did was find shorter-term temporary help for the summer. It limited my overtime, forced me to take more PTO (which I have, but am HORRID about using), and made me do more things with our children. It’s so easy to get tied up in schedules and get out of a routine, but I took this as a great opportunity to go out and do things – nature walks, play at the beach at a nearby lake, go to the park, and other great things we never do as much as we should. Great summer!!!
Moving into my dream home that I have been building for the last year!
My magic moment – the weather was rubbish (to be expected in the UK!) and my two little guys and I spent the day watching films and did some baking – nobody argued, I didn’t have to use my cross voice and it was a really lovely day start to finish
Preordered your book!!
