Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. OMG I love all that stuff!!
Anyways.
I’ve had a super amazing summer, but my favorite magical moment was probably when my 3-year-old niece came home in July and remembered me! She lives far away and only comes to CT twice a year for a week or two, so her being excited to see me and immediately drag me in to play Barbies was awesome. :o)
My magic moment was celebrating my two year anniversary! Thank you for sharing your recipes and your enthusiasm – congratulations on the book!
My Magic Moment was spending a lovely weekend at a family friends lake house with people I loved!
My magic moment was buying my first home! It has a great kitchen :)
My magical moment was basically the entire month of August. My husband and I exchanged wedding vows in Carmel Valley and then went to Turks and Caicos for our Honeymoon and came back yesterday. Best month ever. The highlight: being announced at Mr. and Mrs. Eric Hellweg.
My magic summer moment was when I was told my husband and I were approved to adopt a retired racer – a greyhound!! I cannot wait to welcome a fur kid into our home. :)
I preordered the book on Amazon and can’t wait for it to arrive!
my magic moment from this summer was being admitted to a nurse practitioner program at my dream school! i’m so happy to be back in school and pursuing my life goals :)
My magic moment this summer has been finding out that we’re having a boy! I’m due in less than a week! Thanks for the giveaway!
my magic moment of the summer was probably watching my little sister walk for the first time. it was literally so cute and I even got it on video!! :))
It’s been magical watching my new drought-tolerant garden take off here in central coastal California this summer.
My “magic moment” was floating in the pool looking at the blue-est sky I’ve seen ever!
My most magical moment was on a vacation to Costa Rica and did a ZipLine adverture over the rain forest. There were 11 zips and one of them was a mile line. Pretty exciting. I’m a 68 year old grandmother of 11 and have always been a girly girl and never a risk taker but this was pretty fun and I’d go again in a heartbeat. ♥

My favorite moment from this summ
Magical moment this summer – just this past weekend we went to see my brother’s band play, and he had my husband and brother-in-law get on stage for a song. Watching my favorite men all perform together with huge smiles on their face was a high I’ll never forget.
My magic moment was participating in my sister-in-law’s wedding and truly becoming a part of their family – meeting all the cousins and distant relatives :)
My magic moment this summer was taking a trip to the Bahamas with my sister!
My magic moment was going diving in St Martin and not being afraid!! I got over my huuuge fear of water and swam and dived in the open sea and loved it :)
We didn’t take a vacation this summer, but one of the best things has been seeing our kids gobble up our home-grown strawberries and tomatoes!
My most magical moment of summer was at work. Honoring a veteran-hospitality industry. Making his birthday special and creating a birthday plaque from entire staff. Nothing better than having him one by and say thank you. He was overwhelmed with tears of joy.
I have ordered the book! Preorder that is! See you in Tampa!
My magical moment of the summer was driving after work to the nj shore just in time for a first-night-of-vacation beach picnic of Chinese food, the sun setting and the waves crashing! That has become a vacation ritual and it is perfection!
I got engaged this summer and it was completely magical!!
Sorry about the comments. My favorite moment from this summer was getting the opportunity to be the officiant at my brother-in-law’s wedding!
Magic moment of the summer for me was watching the sun set from The Getty in Los Angeles… a summer full of overtime and working weekends kind of melted away for me in that moment.
Sipping a beer, grilling, and eating dinner outside.
My magic moment was being able to travel abroad to Israel with my husband and partake in my cousin’s beautiful wedding as well as share with my family our exciting news that we are expecting this year!! It was all magical! :)
This summer’s magic moment was the first time I looked out at the view from my new apartment. Downtown Chicago is beautiful.
My magic moment from this summer was laying in my new hammock in the yard of my very first house!
I never dreamed that I would start a national holiday, let alone at my age, but things are on track to have that very thing happen. A resolution has been written and submitted to my state senate. To honor the day, my plans were to build a website where education through fun would be key, but between the expense of building a website, launching a Kickstarter campaign, shooting a video for the campaign – well, it was overwhelming. A “perfect storm” occurred a couple of weeks ago when chance encounters collided with people I’ve known for years, and things are starting to fall into place. The Magic Moment came in a tea shop sitting with a young producer/videographer as I realized that I could make this happen.
After what seemed like months of rain in my area we had a late afternoon when the sun came out. My guy and I were sitting on the deck, the sun came through the trees and made the world glow. All the colours became so vibrant it was breath taking, we both sighed at the same time, it was the most peaceful feeling.
Thank you for your awesome blog and this contest!
