Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!
The giveaway will run until this Friday, August 29. The winner will be announced on this post and contacted by email. THANK YOU!

Too many to count, but I loved relaxing and playing with my kids at the lake house:)
My magic moment was visiting my Canadian husband’s friend Bruno in Montreal. We drove up from Norfolk, VA and we punked Bruno’s lawn with 100+ American flags and banners and pinwheels in the early morning of July 4th. Bruno and his family were the neighborhood rock stars that weekend. Unfortunately, Bruno passed away only two weeks later by succumbing to his battle with pancreatic cancer. :-(
I purchased your cookbook a couple a weeks ago on Amazon! Can’t wait!!!!!

My “magic moment” this summer just happened on Friday. I am the oldest of four and we live all over the place so it’s tough to get together often – on Friday we all went to see Zac Brown Band in concert together. Singing and dancing together at the concert with all my siblings was so much fun!
My magic moment from this summer: taking a trip to Vancouver and watching the sunset on the beach on the summer solstice. The colors, how late it was at night…it was all so other-worldly.

Oh, Jessica! we had a drunk driver hit our house and totaled our deck in early June. Everything is finally fixed, repaired, and somewhat back to normal. We’re waiting on our new grill, and once we have that and can grill out on our new deck (hopefully this weekend!!) then I’ll have the miracle moment I’ve been waiting for all summer!
Magic Moment – road trip to Nashville with the bestie to make as many memories as possible. We succeeded! :)
My husband took the bar last month. So after a pretty boring summer, we’ve spent the last month together. It’s been so nice to have some time together before he starts working for the rest of his life.
This whole summer is amazing! I have 8 friends & family members getting married all before our wedding in November. It’s been a happy blur! So basically, if I win anything, I’m going to pretend it’s a wedding present from you :)
My magic moment was traveling North to Omaha to see my favorite band under the stars at an all day music fest. There is just something magical about music at night!
You rock girl, thanks for doing this incredible giveaway!! This sounds so stupid, but my incredible moment this summer was learning to use the grill myself! I always just handed my hubby a plate of food and told him to make it, but I wanted to learn how, so he sat there and showed me all his tips and tricks. Then I used your recipe and techniques and grilled bread. LIFE CHANGING! Anyway, you rock, so excited to enter this giveaway, and expect me back in like two seconds with the preorder comment, because you know I bought that weeks ago!
You are the absolute coolest. Amid a crazy hectic summer at a new job, my magic moment was a long weekend away with friends at the most peaceful little lake house in Michigan. Nothing fancy, just grilled food, drinks, lovely weather and perfect company lakeside. I would live in that weekend!

Magic moment: Watching fireworks from the back of my parents’ boat!
Hmm, magic moments have been lacking. My most not-magical moment occurred when I went on a date and the guy ate his salad with his hands. Yes, he was actually picking up caesar dressing covered lettuce leaves with his fingers. Oh, and he was picking his nose. I could not get out of there fast enough.
My magic moment was having my boys (7 and 9) teach me how to dive head first into a swimming pool. I am 39 had never learned and was scared … they not only took the time away from playing to teach me but cheered me along the way AND corrected my form.
In the end I don’t know who had more fun – them or me.
My most magical moment of this summer was seeing that second line on my pregnancy test! We can’t wait to welcome our baby in February. :)
Also preordered the book a while ago. So excited to get it!
And I pre-ordered!
Hearing my 8 month old son belly laugh for the first time. That infectious, baby giggle gets me every time!
My magic moment this summer was spending the day at the zoo with my two brothers and sister-in-law. The day was so special because I am very close with my siblings and sister-in-law and we felt like little kids again. I haven’t laughed so much in such a long time. My sister-in-law is six months pregnant and this is a very special pregnancy for my whole family. Her baby girl, Scarlett Jane, is our miracle baby and the first baby in our immediate family. While we are so excited for Scarlett’s arrival it was nice to spend the day out with my siblings before all their time is occupied by all of her little wants and needs.
My magic moment was seeing my entire family get together for my grandpa’s 90th birthday! Who lives that long? My family, of course, and every single one showed up. Even my brother who had is teeth wired shut and couldn’t eat a thing.
