Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.

You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My Magic Moment was sitting in the new Tiki Hut that my husband and I built with a glass of Iced Mint Coffee in the Florida heat. We have been having 97F weather in Fort Myers for weeks and it was a labor of love cutting down bamboo, cleaning it, pouring a concrete pad, repainting and making cushions for the Tiki Hut furniture. We also built a cool bamboo table with a glass top. It was so nice to sit outside on a Sunday morning and enjoy it!

I’ll never forget the size of those paws! Such beautiful animals and an amazing experience I will never forget.
My magic moment was not one grand event. It was getting to slow down enough with my family. We made ice cream. I read the Hunger Games to two of my boys. We swam, went to movies and baked. I got to appreciate all of the small moments that make one magic moment.
Whoa, what an amazing giveaway!! I would be over the moon to win. I just had a magic late summer day this weekend at Red Fire Farm’s tomato festival in Massachusetts. Wandered the fields, ate grilled corn, and tasted about 75 varieties of tomatoes! So fantastic!

My magic moment this summer was driving my hound, Abe, to the dog park near our house for the first time with all the windows and my sunroof open. After relying on public transportation for over 5 years, it’s great to have a car of my own, and I love the feeling of driving in sunny-but-not-too-hot weather with the breeze coming through. It’s one of the simple things that always makes me smile!
My magic moment has been moving in together with my boyfriend and just getting to know each other better and working on our relationship!
My husband and I took our daughter to visit her great, great grandma. We also brought her great grandpa and her grandma to and a photo with all 5 generations. It was a great summer moment.
It was having a baby! Best month of my life so far:)
My magic moment from this summer was hanging out at my friend’s cabin and spending the days at the lake!
My magical moment from this summer was visiting my husband’s family in Michigan over the 4th and ever so gracefully face-planting on concrete my 3rd day there…leaving me with a swollen eye and huge gooey raspberry on my face. It was my proudest and definitely my most magical moment this summer :) In reality though, visiting family was pretty magical and wonderful!
My magic moment was having a beautiful natural birth of our 3rd kiddo! My hubby is deployed and will be meeting him in about a month for the first time, that will be magic moment #2!
Also, I pre-ordered your book a few months ago. Can’t wait to get it!!! :)
My magic moment was having all my family together for the fourth of July!
My magical moment this summer was getting married! Our wedding was on July 4th, in Columbus, IN and it was truly magical. Not only did I get to marry my best friend, we had the perfect weather to celebrate the day away with family and friends. It was amazing.
Indian takeout on my Brooklyn rooftop at sunset!

Spending 2 weeks on vacation! First time in my adult life!
My magic moment this summer was finally getting married after being engaged for over two years! We didn’t have extra vacation time for a honeymoon, so my new hubby and I bought a grill and a patio set and have been enjoying our Chicago rooftop instead.
I lost 55 pounds, so this summer was the first summer in quite a while that I’ve felt good about myself! Pretty magical.
Watching my daughter jump into a swimming pool with no fear and having the time of her life.
I lived with my grandparents for six years, in college and for a bit after. But when I got married last year I moved out and haven’t had much time to see them through the last year. My grandma is like my soul sister. She instilled my love of food and cooking in my life. She taught me how to bake and how to cook. She taught me to love cooking for others. She taught me how to express love for others by cooking for them. In July my grandma had a stroke and spent three weeks in the hospital before passing away. I was able to spend everyday with my family and my grandma this summer, an unexpected blessing before my husband and I move across the country from them. I had the honor of spending a few hours by myself with my grandma each day during those three weeks. I was able to thank her for all she had done for me and taught me. It was a beautiful time and I’m thankful for her ability to talk throughout most of the three weeks. While this doesn’t sound like a normal “magical moment”, the three weeks was a huge blessing to me and to my family. She was a special lady and time with her was always magical.
My best friends back yard wedding!!
(I also per-ordered the book awhile ago)
Wow, what an amazing give away! We’ve had a pretty amazing summer, we took our three kids (2, 4 and 5) on our first real family vacation…it was a blast! :)
My magic moment this summer was when my folks came up from San Antonio to visit and my dad helped my husband build a pergola over our back deck. All summer we’ve enjoyed the partial shade from our hot Montana summer days, the birds visiting the feeders we were able to finally hang and the night time ambiance from the hanging lanterns I put up around the edges. Next summer I plan to weave some colorful fabrics through the slats to make it even more enjoyable. I love going outside to cook, eat or just sit knowing my dad had a hand in making my back yard more of an oasis.
UGH JENI’S ICE CREAM IS SO GOOD. I went to Columbus, Ohio this summer for a conference and made sure to stop by – their cantaloupe sun tea sorbet is to *die* for! I’m thrilled they opened one in Atlanta and Nashville – my parents live there so they can lure me home with ice cream now. ;)
I think one of the most magic moments this summer for me was when I went to a mountain retreat for work in North Carolina. It was the first week of July, and the weather there was in the 50s and 60s(!!!!) most of the days whereas back at home, it was in the high 90s and low 100s. I definitely didn’t miss the South Carolina humidity for the first half of July. The view was also gorgeous. Nothing like Appalachian mountains for sure. ;)
My magic moment this summer was taking engagement photos with my sweet fiance! It was a such a special memory to experience together – having actual photos are a wonderful bonus!
My magic moment was catching lightening bugs (“biddy busssss” as my daughter calls them) with my daughter who is turning 2 in Oct. She was born in Las Vegas, I spent the last 10 years out there and this was her first east coast summer and my first east coast summer in over a decade. Hearing her scream “biddy bussssss” and putting the edges of her hands together mimicking the act of catching the bugs made my summer so memorable.
I couldn’t wait to “celebrate” summer this year instead of hibernating in the desert heat!
My favorite moment from the summer was the weekend I shared with my entire family at the lake. We hadn’t been together in months, so it was a joy.
I also pre-ordered my copy of Seriously Delish a few months ago – my birthday is in September, so of course I had to have it!
My magical summer moment was sort of random -I had just finished a HUGE presentation at work and to blow of steam that night and celebrate my husband and I drove to the beach, got my FAVE cobb salad in the world, and went to listen to live country music at a local bar on the boardwalk. Was amazing – oh and I should mention we ended the night with frozen custard with LOTS of rainbow sprinkles. Such a great night :)
My magic moment of the summer was when my son, my only child, got married! All the family that came from around the country was awesome. Thanks for asking, also thanks for the giveaway.
My magical moment was going to my favorite place, Seaside Beach Fl, with my favorite people for a week. The best part was riding bikes every night and exploring all the little towns and of course stopping for ice cream:)
