Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My magic moment this summer was when I was in El Salvador for the month of July. I won’t get into the details of why I was there because it is a long story, but in my yard there we have a hammock that is suspended between a mango and an orange tree. I can remember so vividly swinging there looking at the blue sky through the mango leaves as little rays of sunshine peaked through, listening to the roosters crow and the ocean off in the distance. It is amazing how such an ordinary moment can seem so extraordinary :)
My Magic Summer Moment: Spending a day at the beach with my husband reading a trashy beach book and eating junk food!

My summer magical moment…finally realizing I am worth it! No longer believing in what others have said, but believing in what God has blessed me with.
My most magimical moment from this summer has probably got to be my baby shower. (My boyfriend and I are expecting our first, a little girl, at the end of September.) But the shower itself isn’t what made it so special and magical. What made it so much more amazing was the surprise proposal. This is coming from two people who never expected to get married, but have never been happier with our lives, and the events happening in them. I honestly have no idea where I’d be without this man in my life. So, of course, the engagement was the most amazing, blissful thing that could have even happened this summer.
Okay nerd alert … My magic summer moment was discovering Geocaching. It’s provided me with some much needed “me time” as well as a reason to get out, enjoy nature and discover new sights close to home! With two young kids, it was the perfect summer activity for me to get out for a while by myself and also enjoy with during family time too! Thanks for the opportunity to win!!

My magic moment from this summer was when my husband I took our 6 month old on a road trip to see all of his family from out of state. I loved watching them meet my son for the first time and loved watching my son’s face light up everytime he saw someone too. He also did really well in the car from FL-SC-IN-VA-FL so that was pretty magical in itself. :)

And getting to do it with my parents was even better. It was our first family vacation in over ten years. I just wish it could have been longer!
