Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. My Magic moment was spending three days at the beach with my best friend before they went away to college 8 hours away from me! its our first time since our friendship began 9 years ago, to have such a large distance between us. I’m holding our last days together close because they’re all I have till their winter break 3 months from now.

My magic moment this summer…hmmm. Well, I turned 25 and it came with an “aha” type moment for me if that counts… I’m entering the second half of my twenties and instead of dreading that fact, I’m choosing to look forward to what is in store.
How do I choose? I live a blessed life but my magical moment has to be celebrating 10 amazing years with my husband!

The day we got engaged! = )
My magical moment this summer was just getting the free time off from school to spend time with my family. :)
My most magical moment of summer was when I was in Vancouver with my husband and our best friends. We were on the way to dinner and took a wrong turn, which annoyed us all because it had been a long day and we were tired and so hungry! We ended up coming across a perfect overlook at just the right moment of sunset, where we hopped out and took some amazing silhouetted photos. Magical and unexpected!
My magic moment was feeling my baby kick for the first time! I am almost at the end of my pregnancy and I am sure I will miss that feeling.
Congrats to you also on the pregnancy and book! So excited for both your babies.
Ps. That Minkoff bag is almost too perfect. Diaper bag maybe….
Summers in Lake Tahoe are magical. Paddling to Emerald Bay with my husband and children, lounging in our backyard hammock heaven, riding bikes to get our morning coffee, Sunday fun day at the beach with all my favorite families….its all bliss!

Celebrating my 5 year wedding anniversary with my husband in Florida for a week.
My magic, this summer, involved merely the ability to get out and travel again. A routine abdominal surgery in March involved two random life-threatening complications. Last month, I met a life-goal of seeing my 50th state (met *on* my 40th birthday!) But probably the *most* magic moment of that trip was feeling the warm south Atlantic Ocean on my body again, and appreciating that I was alive to do it! (with my husband at my side, of course)
Now, on to my next quest in life!
My magical moment was being on vacation with my family and reaching the top of Arethusa Falls in New Hampshire (a 1.5 mile hike) with my husband, and 2, 4 and 7 year old daughters

My magical moment was picking our own peaches in an orchard, then eating them with juice running down our chins and arms! The best!!
My magic moment was probably last week – we went on vacation, just my hub, the kids, and me. To the beach. Weather was great, kids didn’t fight, it was so relaxing and fun and filled with memory-making. Could have done without the jellyfish, though! They couldn’t get enough of my son!
My magic moment from this summer has been enjoying 4th of July fireworks on the 6th hole of the neighborhood golf course. We had the entire place to ourselves and an amazing view!
My magic moment of this summer was when we carelessly floated in a secluded cove on our favorite lake. We weren’t able to get any vacation time in last year, so we definitely relished the opportunity to unplug and unwind!
I had an amazing bridal shower and bachelorette party!! Can’t wait to be married!
There were several good moments this summer, a couple handfuls of great moments, but I think that the truly magical one would be the day we switched our flights around to have an all day layover in NYC. I had never been their before. Flying around the City was like being in an aerial shot of a movie. We took the subway into the City from JFK and when we finally surfaced we found ourselves in the middle of a giant street fair! The whole day, the cultures, languages, faces, gleaming buildings, landmarks, the beauty of Central Park and Grand Central Station, the people watching on the subway… it was a day I won’t ever forget.
My magic moment was going to a winery with my mom!
My magical moment has been going on all summer. Watching my son grow and learn is the most magical thing I have ever experienced, Just when I’ve seen the most magical thing he goes and does or learns something else I’m even more blown away.

My friend and I played hooky and spent a day eating and walking around Santa Monica pier. We ate lunch, drank sangria, went to the boardwalk, rode the roller coaster, then went and ate dinner at a different restaurant. It was a perfect, carefree day!
My magical moment this summer was just 2 days ago where I am able to visit my parents at their lake cottage in northern Michigan- between kayaking, water skiing, paddle boarding, hitting up the local farmers market- there are just too many fun and beautiful things to do- hard to pick just one!
I got a little over excited seeing a guy propose to his girlfriend in a row boat on a lake in Rome. After she had obviously said YES, I started cheering on the other side of the lake, then MADE my husband to row over so we could offer to take their photo for them. My husband was laughing at how embarrassing I am but couldn’t help myself, they were so happy!
