Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!
The giveaway will run until this Friday, August 29. The winner will be announced on this post and contacted by email. THANK YOU!

My magical Summer moment has been the opportunity to explore my new city with my love!
My magical moment was when I was in Japan this summer. Usually in the summer, the top of Mt. Fuji does not show, but on my birthday(of all days), for a couple of hours, it was clear! That was one magical moment to celebrate and remember forever.

SUPER cheesy, but my magical moment from this summer is (there are two), the first is that we did a 3-day potty training bootcamp on our 2-1/2 yo toddler son and it worked like a charm!!! Second one is that he also started swim lessons and turns out, he is quite the little fish. He LOVES it. Bonus is that mommy (me) gets to join him in the pool, so it’s a super special time for just the two of us :) :) :) – Rebecca Meier

Hi! My magic moment happened just yesterday, in fact. I’m not at all a hiker, or even an outdoorsy type. but, earlier this summer, I joined MS4MS (Multiple Summits for Multiple Sclerosis), which is a charity that raises money for multiple sclerosis research and treatment using people who pledge to hike 14ers in return for donations. Don’t know what a 14er is? it is a mountain whose summit is at 14,000+ feet above sea level.
Yesterday, my awesome team and I summited Mt. Quandary at 14,265 feet in 40+ mph winds. It was an incredibly challenging experience, but the most amazing euphoria flooded me at the top. I had done it! I had seriously doubted my ability to make it to the top, but I felt like I owed it to myself, the people who donated to me, and most importantly, those people who would benefit from the money I helped raise.
Let me tell you, that pride was the best feeling ever. Sleeping for 12+ hours after wasn’t too bad, either!
Hiking in the white mountains was truly magical! It was a great summer :)
My magic moments of the summer are all of the days that I get to spend with my family on the beach :)
My magic moment of summer? Getting a new flat with my boyfriend :). We’re living together like GROWN-UPS now. It’s serious.
I’d say my magic moment of the summer (thus far!) was getting out early from work on July 3rd, going and having a massive Greek feast in the sunshine with my best friend, and then heading back to her apartment to watch hours and hours of Once Upon A Time.
waiting on my magic moment any day – the birth of my daughter!
Magic moment–sunset on the beach with my family!
I pre-purchased the cookbook, OMG can’t wait!
Completing a task I had been working on for a year and one that really challenged me to find out what I am capable of — and coming home when it was finally over to a fabulous bottle of champagne from my wonderful husband to celebrate!
My Magic moment from this summer was celebrating my boyfriend’s and my 10 year anniversary with a cocktail party in the backyard with our favorite people! We had it deck out with string lights and candles and plenty of appetizers from your blog!

My magic moment this summer was spending fun summer days with my little ones and taking an anniversary trip to Florida!
Magic for me was taking an off the beaten path hike on Maui that led to the most amazing view and refreshing ocean breeze.
We had a bunch of new neighbors over that we’d never met for a bbq. It was sooooo much fun!
Planning our upcoming trip to Japan with the boyfriend :)
I have to say my magical summer moment has been eating pizza on the sand at the beach. The pizza was sandy but that was still the perfect slice of pizza. Three of my favorite things combined…the beach, pepperoni pizza and sharing a magical moment with the people that genuinely love me as much as I love them.
I loved making fig jam with my best friend using fruit from my brother’s fig tree
Looking at the stars in Israel.
My magical moment this summer was moving across the country from Pittsburgh (I miss the burgh though!) to Dallas, Tx to be with my boyfriend after doing a year and a half of long distance and the moment we saw each other at the airport knowing we wouldn’t have to say goodbye was such a light at the end of the long tunnel. It was finally nice to cry some happy tears! (cheeseballs!!)
I love your blog Jessica! My favorite moment from this summer was being able to go fishing with my best friend. We both live in Michigan and we went fishing on Lake Michigan. It was a lot of fun even though we didn’t catch anything.
Playing piano and drinking iced coffee!
My magic moment is about to happen – this weekend I get to watch my best friend marry the guy who stole her heart back in college, won her best friends over and became an integral part in all of our lives. I am so excited to be part of the happiness and celebration.

Easily the best moment was arriving at our rental house on Cape Cod after something like 6 hrs of driving (the traffic out of NYC area is insane!) and realizing that my husband had rented us a REALLY nice house with a private beach. It was just a moment of realizing I was going to live in luxury for a whole week!
