Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!

Buying my wedding dress with my dad!
when my baby daughter went swimming in a pool for the first time! Such a special and cute memory that I will always remember
Best moment of the summer was taking my (rescue) dog Wilson to the beach and swimming for his first time. We played around in the surf and I think it was a little too rough for his first time. I’m positive he was smiling on the outside but flipping me the bird on the inside. Still a hoot to watch him!
My magic moment this summer was spending a week at the beach with my whole family before my last child left for college.
Oh my goodness, almost 5,000 comments, wow Jessica you popular!
Okay – my summer memory, I have to give this one to my three month old daughter, it’s our first and EVERY single thing I do is always “Awww, this is Ashley’s first . . . zoo trip, cabin stay (she cried the whole weekend), dip in the lake (she cried, but got used to it), horse ride (she cried but then LOVED it), etc. so as you will soon see, those are the MOST magical moments and literally make every day of every season complete (whhaaa, okay, I’m done). Thanks for sharing your favorites, i’ve already pinned the bag to my “i want it” Pinterest board!
. . . And you know I preordered that book like months ago! And my husband pre-thanks you for all the use of bacon!

My magic moment came this summer when I got a new job and was able to move home to be near my family!!
My magic moment this summer was swimming in the gulf at Orange Beach with my children and my husband, and seeing a fin! My oldest daughter and I swam like hell to shore, and then I realized it was a dolphin, not a shark (wasn’t waiting to figure it out while I was in the water). Then watched it dive in and out of the water for a while. Oh, and when you announced you were pregnant! But mostly the dolphin. : )
Just pre-ordered your cookbook! I kept dropping hints to my boyfriend hoping he would order it for me for my birthday (in my dreams :) ) so i just went ahead and ordered it!! can’t wait!! Wish you were coming to Dallas for the book tour! But i’m seriously considering driving to Houston or Austin!!
Oh my this is so lovely! I love you site and having a cookbook of all the delish “trashy” meals is a gift in itself! My favorite moment of summer was finding out my sister was pregnant! We are all so excited!!

For a month, I worked at a resort this summer that was located about 3-4 hours from home. One Friday night, my husband told me to stay awake so he could Skype me and then showed up at my door with our dog, a bag, and a container of peanut butter-chocolate ice cream. Totally magical.
My moment this summer was spending a week with my family. Such great memories!
This is wonderful Jessica! Thank you so much for all that you do for us, too! I love your blog – it’s so inspiring! So my magical moments from this summer were celebrating my 1 year anniversary, and finding out my sister is pregnant with her third baby! Can’t even wait to snuggle with the babe. I pre-ordered your book awhile back. Can’t wait to try EVERYTHING!
I had the awesome opportunity to go to Hawaii with my family and boyfriend about a month ago. One day, we kayaked to a waterfall called Secret Falls and were able to swim underneath it. It was a magic moment that I’ll remember for a lifetime.
my magical moment this summer was when my parents came to visit and we had the best time wine tasting, beer tasting and spirit tasting. nothing like a little alcohol for some excellent family bonding!
My magic moment this summer was getting the apartment I wanted, less than a 2 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower! Move in this Sunday!!
My sister and I LOVE your blog so much. My magical moment this summer was getting my first full-time job right out of college AND picking up my Boston Terrier puppy! :)
Gosh, my favorite moment was really in the spring. When my oldest was graduating from High School, my mom made the trip several hours away to our house, dragging her oxygen and all for a few day. I was very proud of my mom. She’s not an adventurer anymore and getting out of the nasty hot valley and to the cool beach did her a world of good!!
I pre ordered my copy from amazon! Very excited. Also not sure I’ll be able to make it but Joseph Beth is awesome. Have fun in Cincinnati and get some chili while you are there.
My magic moment was reading Harry Potter to my nephew.
jess, you are way too generous!! all of these gifts look incredible alone, but TOGETHER?! dang.
anyway, my magic moment of the summer had to be returning to rhode island for vacation (I live in philly) after four years of being away and getting to see old college friends. it reminded me that I need to NOT let that much time pass again before visiting. plus, summer in new england is so beautiful.
THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN FOR THE GIVEAWAY!! you, your recipes and your site are all fabulous and I stop by everyday :)
ps, I preordered months ago! thank you!! can’t wait to see you when you visit philly :)
My magical moment this summer was having my baby brother and sister (they’re teenagers but for sure still babies to me :) come stay with me for an insane sleepover in which we went to the Santa Monica Pier, ate giant bacon cheeseburgers, fries and too many oreo concretes then went on every single ride possible and topped it all off with funnel cake at midnight. When we finally got home to my apartment they couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces and honestly, I couldn’t either! The best summer night I’ve had.
My best moment this summer was getting offered two internships. Really feeling like my hard work has paid off and that I’ve accomplished something!
Magic Moment – being back on the Farm, a.k.a. my parents house, and playing endless rounds of fetch with my favorite puppies (theirs).
I pre-orderded the book awhile ago. So excited!

Oooh how nice. This is a great giveaway. Let’s see – magic moments…I’ve honestly had a bunch of great moments this year. Magic moment is in progress – making my first set of bridesmaids dresses for my friend’s wedding that I am also standing in. The whole process has been super fun and I can’t wait to see us all in the dresses!!!!!
I already commented, but here’s my second pre order comment! Pre ordered a month or so ago. Eeeeeeee!
My magical moment was doing a wonderful, group yoga session in a park to benefit cystic fibrosis during a beautiful sunset .
Best moment was riding a sweet off the track ex-racehorse all summer and seeing the progress he made!
My magical moment this summer is attending my dad’s follow up appointment with his oncologist last week to find out that his tumor is (finally!) receding. He has been fighting stage four pancreatic cancer for the last 18 months and as a family we have been supporting him through changing and transforming our food and lifestyle. Your blog has inspired me to think outside the box about food and really challenge myself in the kitchen to not just stay healthy but also help my dad through this process where food is no longer a pleasure. Thank you for your humor, great recipes and inspiration.
My magic moment was when my vegetable garden finally came into full swing and I had so many heirloom tomatoes I was giving them away to my neighbors, my coworkers, and to people at the gym.
My magic moment was when I was there for one of my best friends engagements– it was to her surprise! She has no idea it was coming and had no idea her parents, and myself, were all there hiding during the whole thing and we jumped out and surprised her! such happiness!
My magic moment this summer was ordering our package to go to Crash My Playa in Cancun in January to celebrate 5 years of marriage in the sand and sun with 4 night of live country music!!
i had a really magical moment boating with my boyfriend in central park
My magic moment was taking my nephew swimming for the first time!

The most magical moment this summer was one of my best friend’s wedding that has finally happened after waiting TWO YEARS
It’s winter here in Peru, but the most magical moment this summer was getting married in the Andes in June! It was definitely a magical day, and such an unforgettable time!
Many magic moments this summer, but the ones that stick out in mind are…1. Starting to work as a baker for a personal chef…so much fun! 2, Traveling alone with my children this summer with one of them being in a cast thanks to a broken foot. After having a canceled flight and having to spend the night in a hotel and getting 3 hours of sleep before leaving early in the morning…was thankful for so many kind people who helped us along the way and got us to all our gates in record time!
My husband and I just moved to a new apartment. It is amazing, but the real magic was realizing we have a gorgeous view of the sunset every night. Sipping a cocktail while watching an amazing sunset is one of my favorite ways to end the day, especially in the summer.
My best part of the summer was the whole summer. My three year old made a list of places he wanted to go to and things he wanted to do this summer. He has an amazing memory so they were things we had done before but things he loved like going to the beach, having a picnic, going to the zoo, having a water balloon fight. Each time we did something from his list and we did most things more than once he would get so excited. Experiences through your child’s eyes is so much better than through your own.
