Happy Birthday, Seriously Delish! (Giveaway!)
You guysssssss. Today marks exactly ONE YEAR since Seriously Delish was released! 365 days. 525949 minutes. Like a billion seconds. I can’t believe it’s been an entire year!

I won’t ever be able to thank you as much as I want to thank you for the amazing opportunity to write this book. To go on the book tour and see all of you, to connect with you in your kitchen in a way that doesn’t involve a computer screen everyday. There is no possible way I can express how freaking grateful I am. No way.

The support for this hot pink binded, rambly worded thing I call a book blows my mind. Thousands of you have written and emailed and instagrammed and sent me pictures of what you have made and it NEVER GETS OLD. I never get used to it. I still get giddy and excited and thrilled to see what you are making and hear your stories around the book. Please never stop!

To celebrate, I’m giving away three signed copies of Seriously Delish. To enter, leave a comment below and tell me the answer to this very important question: what is your favorite song? Contest is open to EVERYONE EVERYWHERE and will run until Sunday.
I love you something fierce. xoxo

Aaaaagh…I just love your blog and I’m such a newbie I didn’t even know you had a cookbook. Where have I been? Could it be that I have been too busy feeding my 5 kids? Anyways, when this song comes on the radio, my kids know to cover their ears because the volume goes FULL CRANK and I start singing…Hotel California by The Eagles!!!! Love, love, love!
My gorgeous daughter is getting married in 3 weeks. We have been focused on a lot of music and I was compelled to choose one song to show how I feel about her. I chose Eric Clapton’s rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Not only is the melody beautiful, but the words remind me of the way I felt about my daughter when she was born – so full of hope and promise. I’m hoping for an opportunity to dance to this exact song/artist at her wedding. I specifically remember holding my newborn daughter in my lap and looking at her and feeling such a sense of wonder and love. To this day, that hasn’t changed. Dreams will come true.
Anything by Elton John!
How Deep is Your Love – Calvin Harris
Makes me think of my husband and all of our exciting adventures ahead!
xoxo
Am American Trilogy – Elvis Presley
TODAY it is Beautiful by Carole King
Song of the moment? Some of the new Florence and the machine. Favorite ever? Anything of James Taylor’s greatest hits.
Hard one! Has to be Sittin’ on the dock of the bay by Ottis Reading – makes me smile every time I hear it!
Billie Jean! Naturally…#MJ4life :) HA!
Right now, ‘Shut Up & Dance’ is my favorite! We attended our church youth group conference this summer as chaperones. This song was played as a way to let our youth know that God is always there for them & wants to be by their side, in good times & bad. And now that’s all that I think of when I hear it! Amazing!!
Amazing Grace…no doubt about it. It always calms me. It can be happy, it can be sad, but it’s always beautiful!!!
So hard to pick a favorite song…
It would have to make you feel good inside, like you want to get up and dance. I would say September, by Earth, Wind and Fire. Get out my roller skates and disco ball!
