Happy Birthday, Seriously Delish! (Giveaway!)
You guysssssss. Today marks exactly ONE YEAR since Seriously Delish was released! 365 days. 525949 minutes. Like a billion seconds. I can’t believe it’s been an entire year!

I won’t ever be able to thank you as much as I want to thank you for the amazing opportunity to write this book. To go on the book tour and see all of you, to connect with you in your kitchen in a way that doesn’t involve a computer screen everyday. There is no possible way I can express how freaking grateful I am. No way.

The support for this hot pink binded, rambly worded thing I call a book blows my mind. Thousands of you have written and emailed and instagrammed and sent me pictures of what you have made and it NEVER GETS OLD. I never get used to it. I still get giddy and excited and thrilled to see what you are making and hear your stories around the book. Please never stop!

To celebrate, I’m giving away three signed copies of Seriously Delish. To enter, leave a comment below and tell me the answer to this very important question: what is your favorite song? Contest is open to EVERYONE EVERYWHERE and will run until Sunday.
I love you something fierce. xoxo

Wow…Happy Birthday. How great that you are giving out a gift to your fans! My favorite song…..anything from “Grease”, but especially “You’re The One That I Want”. And a signed copy of your book is the one that I want!
What a tough question…it changes daily it seems…

Oh that’s so hard!! I’m going to say … Closer to Fine by the Indigo Girls. The first time I saw them was in 1989 (were you born yet?) and they changed my life. Their songs have traveled right along with me my whole adult life. Universal love and hope!

Toss up between”everybody wants to rule the world” (tears for fears) or “escape” (rupert evertt)….

We’ve only just begun
Wow! Its a year already? I remember when the book was first published….congrats, again! How do you pick 1 favorite song, there are sooooo many. Lately….I’ve been really loving All of Me, by John Legend.

my favorite song is “let my love” by damion suomi and the minor prophets! it’s a never-fail pick-me-up.
I LOVE the orange smoothies with coconut milk. I make those all the time and my husband can’t believe they’re healthy! My favorite song is Toes by the Zac Brown Band (We Built this City by Starship is a close second)!
That is such a hard question? Currently? Of All Time? I love music as much as I love food so it’s hard to pin point ummm…”Mr. Probz – Waves” always puts me in a good mood and “Latch by Disclosure feat. Sam Smith” Sorry I had to put 2 I feel like it’s a even tie. I love your book and your blog and your rambling it’s comical and endearing and often how i communicate! Thanks again! PS. Your baby is ADORABLE!
“For Good” from Wicked – it reminds me of all the amazing people that have been brought into my life and that they each have a purpose in mine and I in theirs!

Ummm…I can’t pick a favorite anything. But when Whitney Houston’s “I wanna dance with somebody” comes on the radio, I
Great…I’ll be singing it to myself for the rest of the day now :)
Edit: I’m so overwhelmed by singing that I couldn’t finish my sentence. But you get it.
I can’t feel my face by the weeknd.
Its kind of how I feel when i make one of your amazing recipes. I dance around the kitchen waiting for the timer to ding. I pull out whatever yummy creation spoke to me and…. I can’t feel my face when I’m with you..but I LOVE IT!!!
Happy Birthday, book!
Right now, my favourite song is “Never Alone” by Jesse Bonano; it’s almost certainly going to be our first dance song at our wedding next month!
Awesome and congrats! I’m a new but very big fan of this space so this is the first I’ve heard of your cookbook! If it’s anything like the blog I’m sure it’s incredible!! My favorite song…I don’t know if that’s really possible to say but I do have quite an affinity for “Girl Anachronism” by Amanda Palmer as it was the first song my wife and I bonded over when we were just getting to know each other. It was what was playing on my Myspace page at the time ;)
My fave song is Amazing Grace – I sing all 6 lyrics of it to my baby every night and she’s usually passed out before I finish it!
Right now it’s Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat – rediscovered it the other day!
don’t judge but right now… What do you mean by Justin Beiber. I’m sorry. I can’t deny the truth.
My favourite song is probably “Animal” by Miike Snow but honorable mention must go to all Christmas songs ever, yes especially the cheesy awful ones, and all the religious ones, and all the muzak ones. All the Christmas songs.
Puff the Magic Dragon. It is a gut-wrencher every. single. time. The story of Puff and his person, Little Jackie Paper, has been around for ages. It has even been suspect to potential conspiracy theories stating that the lullaby has drug-related subliminal messaging. But if you listen to the lyrics with a much more child-oriented mind, the ageless story of poor Puff is one that is relatable to all of us. Growing old is the pits. Every time I hear this song I cry.
Best answer ever. I love the description, most def made me laugh. Probs not your intention, but you get it. I do love this song and so appreciate your honesty!
Wonderland
My favorite song is Let it Be, love your blog!
How exciting! I think I cook more from your blog than any other when entertaining, and I am NEVER disappointed (and neither are my guests).
As a former singer, favorite song is such a hard question, but at least one of them has to be “George On My Mind” by the one and only Ray Charles. It was even the song we used for the “father/daughter” dance at our wedding. :)
Favorite song…that’s a tough one. This year I’d say Papaoutai by Stromae because I listened to it on repeat for about 3 months straight (however long my Spotify free trial was!)
Congrats on one year! :)
Favorite song – hmm….do kids songs count? Cuz that’s generally what I hear on repeat! ha! I like oldies though… “Because you’re Mine, I walk the line” by Johnny Cash :)
Love your blog/recipes . . . Love this song – U2 Beautiful Day!
I love Boyce Avenue’s cover of “Faithfully”!
My favorite song is Little Ol’ Wine Drinker by Dean Martin! I’d love to win a copy of your book!
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough – Diana Ross!
Into the Mystic. Van Morrison.
In the Summertime by Thirsty Merc – it reminds me of my year travelling Australia, & particularly the potato packing sheds in Bundaberg!
My favorite song is keep the faith by Bon Jovi
Currently “Uptown Funk” :)
I swear it’s only been a couple months since it went out. It’s been on my list to pick up, but still haven’t managed it. Guess I was waiting for this, huh? Love reading your blog and love all your yummy recipes. Congrats on the “Book Birthday” and hopefully I’ll have it in my hands soon.
Oh, and my favorite song currently is Dearly Departed by Shakey Graves, soon to be playing in my hometown.
Anything by Joni Mitchell, but I love “Blue”. I’d really like to win a copy of your book. This means I’ve been following you for over a year now :)
Happy book birthday! ;) It’s super hard to pick a favorite song but the one song that always gets me up and dancing (even at work!) is American Girl by Tom Petty.
Tough question! Love, Love, Love by Tristan Prettyman is an eternal favorite– it guarantees a good mood!
Love love love your blog in Toronto, Canada! Anything from James Taylor – especially Fire and Rain and How Sweet it Is :)
