My favorite memory of this year involves travel. I got t visit 3 new states and a new country. As I finally settle into adulthood (late 20s) I find that I spend more time doing what I truly enjoy and brings me happiness.
My favorite memory of 2017 is visiting Cuba for the first time.
Putting up our Christmas tree and seeing my daughter’s (21 months) excitement! She loves getting up in the morning and asking us to turn it on.
Favorite memory: meeting my sister & brother-in-law’s new puppies recently after their two adult but youngish dogs died & left them heartbroken earlier this year. But now such sweetness & joy….

Sadly, 2017 was a particularly rough year, but there were definitely some highlights. One of my favorites was knocking Acadia National Park off mine and my husband’s bucket list. SO gorgeous.

2017 has definitely been one of my roughest years but there was one specific memory I have that just really made me happy and that was when my mom and brother who I rarely get to see, made a surprise visit on my birthday and spent the entire day with me. It was such a bright light in a dark time.
My favorite memory this year was buying some land to build our first home! Can’t wait to start gardening next year!

Through the duration of this year I started to realize how important it is to do things for me and put myself first. I am so used to doing everything to please other people and this tended to include keeping people in my life that weren’t good for me. In 2017 I realized that we only have one life and I want to live it for me, so far things have really started to turn around!

My favourite memory was the look on my 8 year old daughter’s face when my brother and his fiancee asked her to be their flower girl, followed closely by how happy she was when she got to pick out and try on the flower girl dress!
My favorite memory of 2017 was June 30th. That was the day we moved into our 1st ever, newly bought home. Marking the day that my little family began a whole new chapter of our lives together.
