My Favorite Things Holiday Giveaway: Win a $500 Amazon Gift Card! [CLOSED]
Happy December 12th! I am SO excited to begin counting down the 12 days of Christmas!

You guys have been asking me left and right if I’d be holding another 12 Days of Christmas vlogging series this year. While I’d love to, all we’re REALLY doing over here is cuddling a newborn. But! Starting today, I will be holding multiple giveaways for some of my favorite things and you can bet that they are in.cred.i.ble. I promise!
These giveaways are not sponsored and are given by me to show how much I appreciate you being here. I LOVE YOU! Thank you for stopping by this rambly corner of the internet every day. It seriously means the WORLD to me.
To kick things off on this first day of Christmas, I’m giving away two $500 amazon gift cards! This gift card will be sent to you electronically, so you will receive it well before Christmas. Like you will receive it two or three days from now.
Please see below for detailed rules on the giveaway, but all you really have to do is leave a comment on this post. And… something else super exciting!
You also have a chance for a second entry and to get a signed copy of my next cookbook, The Pretty Dish!

TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY:
- Follow @howsweeteats on Instagram and Facebook. Leave a comment (with a valid email address so I can contact you!) on this post telling me your favorite memory of 2017!
- For a second entry, pre-order a copy of The Pretty Dish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can find the book on amazon, barnes and noble, books a million and indie bound. Simply forward your confirmation email to theprettydishorders@gmail.com along with the the mailing address that you’d like the plate to be mailed to and the name or message you would like on the plate (if any)! If you have already preordered the book before today (thank you!!!), you are included too! Send your same details to the email with your order confirmation. Please note that the book plate will be arriving in the spring, and should be there before your copy of The Pretty Dish arrives on March 20th!
This giveaway will run for 24 hours and the winner will be announced in tomorrow’s giveaway post! xoxo

Favorite memory of 2017: watching my kids go from older sibling/baby to full on playmates.
My favorite memory is spending time with my family on vacation in the Poconos Mountains!
my favorite event of 2017 is when my 9 y.o. niece and I ran a 3k together.
Watching my baby grow up!
My favorite memory is studying abroad in France for 4 months!
I got engaged in May. I’d say that pretty much tops my year :)
My favorite memory has been watching my son learn to crawl!
My husband and I moved to England this year and when we arrived were told that our dog possibly wouldn’t be allowed to fly to be with us. My favorite memory is reuniting with her at the airport after a very long journey and having our family together again.
I’ll have to go with two memories for 2017. My first was in January, celebrating my sons second birthday at Disneyland. Seeing the joy on his face while he met his favorite characters and went on fun rides brought tears to my eyes! Second favorite memory is my second son being born in October. It’s been hard but it’s also been beautiful and I love seeing my kids together and having a bad day and having my baby smile at me and it all melting away.
Spending time with family!
Best memory of 2017 is a family vacation to Disney! Is there anything better than seeing the magic in a child’s eyes when they see Mickey? #nope

2017 was a hard year, but the highlight was most definitely seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time. It was unforgettable
It has been bitterswee, my 15 yr old Chihuahua passed away 2 months ago in my arms so my favorite memories of 2017 are of him being happy and healthy cuddling with me.
My favorite memory of 2017 is definitely getting married – plus the amazing taco bar we served at the wedding!
Baking all of our sweet Christmas treats with my mom! She always makes a pot of Christmas tea and we would bake for hours! I may not live at home anymore but I bake all the same recipes each year while sipping on Christmas tea! The memories my parents made in my childhood far outway the gifts at Christmas! Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅🏻❄️⛄️🍪🥧
Adopting our sweet dog Shadow! He’s a handful, but he’s a wonderful part of our family and we love him!
Finding a job I love!

My favorite Christmas memory is enjoying Christmas brunch with my family in our pj’s and watching our little ones open gifts.
Happy Holidays!
A forever-in-the-making family trip to Disney World!
My favorite memory is God healing my best friend from end-stage liver failure/auto-immune hepatitis. She is a mom of 2 very young kids, never smoke or drank — lived a healthy life but her liver was failing. She was given less than a year to live and placed on the transplant list. Our church prayed for her and with her. It was not an instant healing — but with God all things are possible. She never took medicine or steroids, she went against everything the sea told her because she knew God had spoken to her to stand in faith that she would be healed. Things didn’t look good for several months, things got worse, doctors pressured harder, but she stood firm, confident in God and He did exactly what He promised. She was completely healed of end-stage liver failure and she has no auto-immune disease (which is impossible because once you have one it never goes away, but only managed). All her symptoms/jaundice etc gone. Her liver was like new. Her testimony is on YouTube btw. It was so amazing, God is so amazing!!
Being maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding!
My favorite memory was bringing my toddler to the beach! She loved it and keeps asking to go back. <3

My favorite memory from this year was going on a tropical vacation with my hubby!
My favorite 2017 memory is watching my twins go from being little babies to toddlers with their own little personalities!
I’m so excited for your 12 days of Christmas!! I’d have to say that getting engaged was a highlight this year!
Disney World with the whole family
I pre-ordered and can’t wait to start trying some new recipes!
My favorite memory of 2017 was having my sweet baby girl 👼🏼👑
My favorite memory of this year has been moving to Seattle!
My favorite memory from 2017 was visiting Mackinac Island after my husband raced there on a sailboat!
Favorite memory of 2017 – being pregnant with our first child who is due in ONE WEEK. We’re having a little girl and it’s been so fun getting ready for her and thinking about all the changes ahead. It truly has been a joy.
My favorite memory was finding our puppy, Keno! He is my heart
My favorite memory from 2017 isn’t as elaborate as every elses. Like going to Germany, having a beautiful new baby or meeting the love of their life over Etheopian food! Lol. But… it’s still a wonderful memory that I am so thankful for. This past year I finally connected with my father like I always dreamed I would since I was a child. And I am so beyond thankful for the time we have left together. Being actual friends was all I ever wanted and I can now say I finally have that. P.S.- I just made your Apple Cider Churros, 5 stars! Soo delicious!
Trying new fun recipes for dinner! I work from home now, so I’ve been able to prep more mid-day and have better meals. You have my favorite weeknight dinner recipes 🙃
I got engaged and moved to NYC!
BEST memory of this year & all time? The birth of my daughter!
Watching my baby girl and her big brother start to play together!
My favourite memory of 2017…that’s a difficult one! It’s been an incredible year, including a trip to eastern Canada (Nova Scotia is gorgeous!) to visit my boyfriend, to starting a new job and welcoming a new niece into the world!
Celebrating our Tenth anniversary!!
Baby Girl #2 will be here in a few weeks!
