My Favorite Things Holiday Giveaway: Win a $500 Amazon Gift Card! [CLOSED]
Happy December 12th! I am SO excited to begin counting down the 12 days of Christmas!

You guys have been asking me left and right if I’d be holding another 12 Days of Christmas vlogging series this year. While I’d love to, all we’re REALLY doing over here is cuddling a newborn. But! Starting today, I will be holding multiple giveaways for some of my favorite things and you can bet that they are in.cred.i.ble. I promise!
These giveaways are not sponsored and are given by me to show how much I appreciate you being here. I LOVE YOU! Thank you for stopping by this rambly corner of the internet every day. It seriously means the WORLD to me.
To kick things off on this first day of Christmas, I’m giving away two $500 amazon gift cards! This gift card will be sent to you electronically, so you will receive it well before Christmas. Like you will receive it two or three days from now.
Please see below for detailed rules on the giveaway, but all you really have to do is leave a comment on this post. And… something else super exciting!
You also have a chance for a second entry and to get a signed copy of my next cookbook, The Pretty Dish!

My favorite memory of 2017 is when, on September 9th, my fiance proposed to me at the New York Renaissance Faire! We came upon a path in the woods that had a beautiful Archway upon entering, and a man playing the mandolin started to follow us into the path . He dedicated a song to us and my fiance took it as the perfect opportunity to propose. He was incredibly nervous and forgot to get down on one knee, which is adorable. The mandolin player was so surprised and we had a group hug! Some lovely onlookers came to us with congratulations. One lady gave me a single red rose and another had noticed we were alone and kindly snapped pictures of the proposal and sent it to us. The fairies at the faire saw the whole thing and were so excited, many hugs were exchanged. The icing on the cake would have to have been the William Shakespeare actor who paraded us around the faire and actually crowd funded money for us at the end of his show. It’s a memory I’ll never forget! 2017 was so good to me.

Hi, Jessica! My favorite memory of 2017 actually happened 4 days ago. To be honest, and a little transparent, this year has been a bit trying for me, and it seems even more so, the past handful of months. I have been keeping hope alive, despite the stress, for a win. Or a little magic. With that said, I love love love snow, but only get to experience it every once in a while, since I live in the south. But 4 days ago, after going to sleep feeling defeated, I woke up to snowfall. Not just a little snowfall, but a whole lot. It actually snowed the entire day and night, and well into the next morning. My boyfriend looked at me a few nights before with tears in his eyes and said, “it’s the season of miracles. Don’t forget that.” It might sound corny, but that snow felt like a little miracle to me, and I played in it with my son, boyfriend, and pets like the big kid I am, as much as possible. I actually sobbed a bit when I saw we had around 10 inches of it. I couldn’t handle the magic of it all. It seriously warmed my heart in a way I can’t accurately describe. Also, I took around a hundred photos and haven’t stopped looking at them. I needed that day. I’ll never forget it. December snow in Georgia is definitely my favorite memory of 2017. xo
