Tuesday Things.

1. How stunning is this candy cane cake roll?!
2. This homemade eggnog latte has been incredible. I do a shot of espresso, some eggnog over ice and a splash of vanilla creamer. Oh my GOSH.
3. I got this milk frother and it makes incredible cold foam! I cannot get enough.
4. I’m in such a huge baking mood and can’t even wait to bake cookies! Have to wrap a giant project before I start, but I might make some doughs today.
5. How to host the best cookie exchange. The only thing I don’t like to do is combine all the cookies together. They all end up tasting the same then.
6. I’m on the fence about peppermint bark. Love or hate?
7. TV things!! I started watching My Life with the Walter Boys which is cute.
8. What’s the #1 gift you’ve got your parents for the holidays?!
9. Next year, having a favorite things party is high up on my list. I think they seem so fun!

We got my in laws a custom painted serving platter on Etsy, with a painting of their house. So special!
Love this! Can you please share the link?

Sadly, looks like her shop is closed until after the holidays! But it would be a great any time gift!
yes, would love to see and/or know how the platter turned out! great idea!!
Thank you, Emily!
What an incredible gift!
Eggnog lattes forever! (And an eggnog white Russian in the PM…)
I’ve been dying to host a favorite things party! Or at least get invited to one, haha
One year I gave my dad a “cookie of the month” certificate where I baked a batch of cookies and mailed them to him. He was very sad when that year ended!
This year I gave my dad a Kindle (gave it early to make sure he liked it!) and it’s a huge hit (I set it up as a Kids Kindle so I can share books with him!)
Love the “cookie of the month” idea! Brilliant! I may have to borrow this!!! :)
I lobe peppermint box. I already went through an entire tin from Williams-Sonoma by myself. I thought of ordering another one and decided not a good plan. Lol!
Not a fan of traditional peppermint bark with the layer of chocolate, but I love Shutterbean’s Crunchy Peppermint Bark, though I usually sub pretzels for the puffed rice cereal. YUM.
