Tuesday Things.
1. The amount of ketchup we go through in this house is alarming. My kids will dip anything in ketchup. It’s kind of horrifying.
2. This cherry blossom cake is STUNNING.
3. Spring cleaning is in full effect over here. I still have some stuff to unpack since our move but also ready to declutter closets – mine and the kids.
4. Speaking of spring, I’m looking for the BEST most comfortable outdoor furniture at a reasonable price point. I want a really big dining table, a few chairs, a couch, etc. But nothing too pricey because it basically gets destroyed in the elements here. You know, I go down the rabbit hole of RH and find myself with a 13K fire table in my cart. Um, not reasonable!
5. How to mute friends and not alienate people. This made me laugh. Mute button for life.
6. TV things! Currently watching Apples Never Fall on peacock and LOVING it. The cast is incredible. I read the book years ago. It’s good!
7. I will not lie. I am fully immersed in the “where is Kate!” speculation but also think it’s outlandish and wild.
8. One hour each week to change your life.

Your children would most likely enjoy “Mrs. Pig”s Bulk Buy” by Mary Rayner. Her little piglets put ketchup on everything!
Check out Article. I took advantage of Memorial Day sales last year to buy a gorgeous woven and acacia table and matching rattan chair set. Affordable, well made, and really stylish. I highly recommend buying the cover. I live in New Hampshire and the furniture did so well over last summer’s endless rain and winter snow (just try to use the cover when you can!) – no warping or staining of the wood.
Polywood furniture is so good
It’s not the most cost-savings option but I love the Terra outdoor furniture I got last year! A couch, loveseat, and coffee table and they are so comfortable!

Costco has the best furniture value in my opinion. Last year we bought a set for our new house front porch and loved the quality of it and the price.
The Princess Kate conspiracies are wild! I go back & forth between she’s just having a private health concern and thinking the conspiracies are valid. Depends on the day. I think the Apples Never Fall is actually better than the book (which I found…meh.. average…) and am really enjoying it so far. The cast is everything!
Hey Jess, re: Patio Furniture!
We have the Porto collection from West Elm and love it. Not sure if they have a large dining table, but we have their chaise sectional and swivel chairs. Had for 3 years and they are still kicking!
I don’t have any suggestions on outdoor furniture. We live in the Pgh area and have a deck. We have a big set with a fire dining table we got from Costco a few years ago but we can’t keep the seat cushions out since they will get water logged if it rains! We also used to have a wicker look sectional type couch with cushions but the cushions would never stay put and we ended up getting rid of that set but it looked so nice! I’m always looking for a new set but everything i love is so pricey.
I love the cherry blossom cake! Years ago I made my son a really cool camo army cake for his birthday, mixing the different colored batter to do the camo and I really want to try the cherry blossom cake!
