These jalapeno cheddar turnovers are the best snack! Golden, crisp puff pastry is filled with a melty cheddar jalapeno filling. The turnovers are topped with everything seasoning and baked until puffed and perfect.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Use a stand mixer or hand mixer to bring the mixture together. Beat together the cream cheese and cheddar. Beat in the peppers, chives, garlic powder and a pinch of salt and pepper, just until all combined.
Cut the puff pastry into squares. The amount will differ depending on the brand and size of puff pastry you use. I usually get 6 squares from each sheet of puff pastry.
Brush the edges of each pastry squash with the egg wash. Place a few tablespoons (about 2 or 3) of the filling in the center. Fold the pastry over to form a triangle, then use your fingers or a fork to gently press and seal the edges. Repeat with the remaining pastry. Brush the tops with the egg wash. Sprinkle with the everything seasoning.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until golden and puffed. Remove and let cool slightly before serving!
